Reviewed By Alfredo812The room was very spacious and big. The check-in and check-out process was very smooth and fast. The food was served hot and it was way too fresh and delicious. The staff was very humble and co-operative.

Reviewed By Bijay1234I spent ₹15,000 for a cab from Nagaland and a 5.30 hour travel time on terrible roads to get to Maipakchao Home stay which is why I’m compelled to write this review. I don’t understand how some properties get a high rating on Google despite being not even worthy of a single star. I took one look at the rooms and I literally fled. I don’t want to use harsh words but suffice to say that though I was mentally prepared for a basic, no-frills accommodation, this place was the pits. Just as I reached I saw another group that was, like myself, disgusted and packing off for a better stay. Unless you want to get a feel of what a rats accommodation looks and feels like, don’t even dare to peep into this place.

Reviewed By Mudita18It may be your last resort while looking for a place to crash in Imphal, this hotel is very low in service and standards. The rooms are super tiny, no hot water, TV is not going to work properly. The staff will go to sleep by 9, so if you call them post that you might get a message saying they are off duty now. What a ridiculous place !!

Well located place to live at Loktak lake.
Reviewed By NRAMThe rooms at the resort are very good and large and spacious, well furnished with a lovely balcony and huge windows all giving a very pictourous view of the Loktak lake. The staff here are friendly and go out of their way to provide you everything you ask. The only negetive is the very limited food choice for vegetarians. This is something they need to look at extremely seriously, cause there are no other reasonably decent places anywhere closeby where you could go to.

Lovely staff, great views
Reviewed By Aliza EUkhrul is a small town with limited accommodation, and so it's a lovely surprise to check in at 25 Degree North. Our room is a reasonable size for a couple and has great views to the mountains and Shirui Peak, famous for the Shirui lily that grows only on that hill. Hot water is always available from the generously sized geyser, the linens are clean and nice, and the staff keeps the room and corridors clean. The owner, Elfrida, and her small staff are wonderful people, warm and friendly. It's a pleasure to talk with them. The restaurant is open from early morning until about 8 PM, and the food is quite good. The menu is a bit limited for vegetarians, but the quality makes up for that. We are enjoying our stay here so much that we've asked to extend. With all the nice walks, hikes and lovely views, Ukhrul is a lovely place to pause in our northeast travels, and 23 Degree North makes us feel so welcome and comfortable.

Reviewed By swathihariharanI learned that yum means house, so this place is basically house and hills, true to its name it has great views of hills and the house is actually like a house not a typical homestay or a hotel. My husband and I stayed in their cottage for 2 night and it was the highlight of our trip to Imphal. The owners are friendly and they have a great know how about the place and things to see around. They helped us with our itineraries. The cottages are designed like traditional Manipuri houses, the property is not in the centre in the town but you can easily reach there in an auto which the taketakers at the property can help you with, they infact even negotiated with the auto guy for us. The location of this property is in my opinion perfect, as it quite and pretty there. Overall we really enjoyed our stay at Yum & Hills cottages and would recommend this place to you.
