Not bad for the price
Reviewed By GagoshaTidy, a bit outdated hotel with a lot of facilities. Great thing and mainly why I’m choosing it - it accepts pets and has private parking. Downside - it has poor sound isolation and if someone is loud like coughing, partying or having sex - you will hear that well!

Better look another place for stay
Reviewed By pawel_hbgHotel has some advantages. Very close location to bridge connecting Germany. 5 minutes walk. They have large parking for free for guests. Unfortunately room was stinky and we needed to ask service to open a window to get fresh air. At check in we were informed that we have breakfast included in the price but it wasn't. Staff should be much better informed to not embarrass the guests. Plates and glasses should be also washed more properly. I needed to get third plate to have it clean and on cup was clear traces of lipstick.

Żary is the biggest city In the Polish part of Lusatia, which stretches from Bogatynia to Gubin, and it fully deserves the name of capital of Polish Lusatia. We would like to invite you to ‶Zacisze Inn‶, which is located in a quiet area of Żary, 800 metres from the city centre. The object is situated near a modern recreation-sports complex and nearby woodland nature, which makes the location very attractive. We will be honoured when we can have you as guests, and highly qualified servicing personnel will take care of warm, domestic atmosphere trying to meet all your needs and requirements. Our hotel is a newly-built object given to use in 2007. We offer stay In 1-, 2-, 3- and 4- man rooms with sanitary fittings of high standard. Reviewed By hannahxd123My friend and I stayed here as part of our interrailing trip whilst stopping off in Poland. We stayed here as it was close to the Zary Park Run and we were so glad we did. It was the perfect location to get to the park run and nearby there is an outdoor pool area with swimming lanes, a jacuzzi section and slides. The hotel itself was amazing, it was clean with fast WiFi and comfy beds. Also the breakfast was a bonus with the most amazing scrambled egg- the best I’ve ever had! The staff and owners were all very welcoming and if I was so go back to Zary I would definitely stay there!

80s Miami Vice film set...
Reviewed By JJensen1974I stayed with U Marii for one night and one night only. It was a last minute decision, not involving TripAdvisor. Hmmm. The personnel is kind (the one star is for service, nice polite and swift) and to the point, but the hotel is very run down. Very. It as a budget hotel, but I would have paid more for another hotel, if I had known what I know now. There is a free parking, next to the entrance. Nice. There is WiFi, but at speeds which did not enable me use Netflix. In general, the cleaning leaves something to be wished for, spotting several places where no duster has ventured in years (it seemed). All this is not really an issue for me, but the bed is. I am a fairly heavy guy and the mattress - which I think was the original from the hotels opening in 1982, was wafer thin. Simply impossible to find a good sleeping position, feeling all the springs in the mattress. That is NOT okay. Certainly not recommendable, unless you are able to levitating while sleeping. Oh did I forget to mention the TESLA-like static electric bedlinnen? But the most irritating thing was the HEAVY vanilla scent, as if the room had been sprayed - soaked - in that before arrival. Absolutely terrible. In the hallway it smelled of cigarette smoke.

Reviewed By jamiebV4892GEI'd travelled in from Berlin and this was a great place to stay the night. A massive room, which was very clean with great facilities and a big bathroom. The welcome was very warm and friendly and they even got me gluten free bread - I'm sorry I had to skip breakfast to catch a train. All in all, an amazing hotel with lovely staff and a warm welcome. Excellent value and totally the best place to stay close to the town centre.

Hotel Retro B. A. Zientarski is located in Zielona Góra. The entire building was renovated and restored in 2015. The Hotel has 20 rooms. Each is equipped with comfortable beds, flat-screen tv, satellite tv, and bathroom with shower. Throughout the hotel you can enjoy free WiFi. Retro Restaurant is famous for its dishes full of flavor, and also service at the highest level. The Reception is open 24 hours a day. Hotel Retro B. A. Zientarski is located opposite the train station. Access on foot to the Kupiecka Street takes about 10 minutes. The Botanical Garden is 3. 7 km away, and Palmiarnia is 2. 4 km away. Centrum Rekreacyjno-Sportowe is less than 1. 5 km. In the near distance (approx. 1. 5 km) is also Kepler's Science Center. Parking in front of the hotel.
Great room for overnight stay in Zielona Gora
Reviewed By anouk315We used Booking.com to find a hotel in Zielona Gora. My partner is a parkrunner so we had some important criteria - less than 1 mile from parkun, easy access to train station and not too far from the main city area. We were dropped off by our Flixbus, a few paces away from the hotel. I advised in Polish that I had a reservation, and hearing that I was not native, the receptionist kindly asked if I preferred Polish or English (I preferred that rather than assuming English). We were directed to our room which was huge! Overlooking the train station with a hallway down to the enormous bathroom. It was perfect. We wished we'd have stayed longer to enjoy this room. We popped down to the little Zabka for some snacks (tip, Zabka stores are everywhere and they'll heat food up for you!) Back at the hotel, even though we were overlooking the main street, it wasn't distracting, we both had a brilliant night sleep. My partner didn't like the separate duvets on the bed, but, I didn't mind so much. We woke up the next morning, made our way to parkrun, and then returned to freshen up. The receptionist allowed us to leave our bags and coats in the hotel whilst we explored a little of the town centre before our train journey, the main town is around 20 minutes walk - pop down to Park Winny along the way for a picture at the Zielona Gora sign! The main town has a great shopping mall - I specifically wanted a book shop so that I could buy some Polish childrens books. We got a taxi back to the hotel, retrieved our baggage and continued on our journey.

Great game dishes and nice ambience
Reviewed By HCovikFriends took us here. The restaurant, or actually inn, as it also provides guest rooms, is built completely out of logs. Many of them huge. It's set up for big parties. As we were there a wedding party was going on. Some of the long wooden tables can seat about 12. The wood provides a rustic feel. The restaurant (or tavern as it is also revered to) serves typical Polish cuisine and specializes in game dishes. We ordered platters with a mix of about 5 different pieces of game along with a large amount of french fries and of course Polish beer. Each meat tasted completely different from the other, but all were delicious. Staff was friendly but not very talkative. We would never have found this place by ourselves. Supposedly the meats are supplied by local hunters.

Reviewed By MrsStrikaWe was traveling from Latvia to England and needed place for few hours to rest. I'm glad i chose this hotel, everything was clean, staff was friendly, food was amazing. There is train next to hotel, but it really didn't affected anything, we was so tired that we even couldn't hear it. Hotel and meals are really cheap, for that price i wasn't expected something so nice. ? Definitely recommend.
