A baroque jewel in Italy’s southeastern heel, Lecce flourishes with the carved sandstone of its cathedrals and piazzas. Atmosphere and cuisine are the main attractions here, with rustic Apulian cuisine on offer at the countless wine bars and cafes spilling onto the city's cobblestone lanes.

In the heart of the baroque Lecce, Le Bifore can admire charming views of the old town. Its luxurious suites, unique design and research, have been designed and furnished to meet the needs of demanding customers who want not only to visit, but to live the beauties of Salento.
The building itself is wonderful but: 1) No room cleaning at all is performed due to covid-19. This includes (used) towels, which do not get replaced 2) No breakfast at all is served due to covid-19 -> instead, you get a voucher for a coffee & a croissant (thats it) to be redeemed at a nearby cafe 3) The check-in procedure was very confusing and I ended-up staying in a room type different from the one I had booked 4) Very scarce hot water: had to shower with cold water on my first day 5) The place is quite run-down: dirty walls, some cheap furniture (IKEA) 6) Bad is stone hard: could hardly get some sleep 7) Very small & cheap TV All of the above, considering the price point, is not really acceptable. On the positive note, rooms are super big and roomy. This place has a huge potential which is clearly not exploited. As an Italian myself, my recommendation is the following: do yourself a favor and book somewhere else in Lecce.

Unfortunately we had to cancel our 2 suite booking 8 days before arrival for medical reasons Despite our detailed explanations of the reasons for our cancellation the hotel did charge us the full rate (2 suites for 3 nights) for "no show".... During high season which starts on 16h June one has to cancel 20 days before arrival for 0 charge and during mid season which ends on 15th June we can cancel 7 days before arrival with no charge Our arrival was foreseen on 17th June This is really a non commercial attitude from the hotel which stated that they will not be in a positon to sell the 2 suites which is probably not true Therefore ourselves and our friends will in future black list this hotel

We stayed at this hotel for four nights. It’s a renovated palazzo with very comfortable rooms. The staff is excellent. Our waitress for breakfast, Julianna, was extremely pleasant and remembered my name every morning. We also met the owner and she is passionate about her hotel. Definitely a keeper

We are 7 friends visiting Italy every year - the stay in Lecce was very pleasant - the rooms are located very near the city wall - there are enough parking spots nearby - it's only a 50 m walk to the next 3 coffee shops and a very nice beer place - it took us only 5 minutes to reach the center of Lecce by foot - perfect - the rooms were clean - the checkin was smooth - everything perfect.

Dimora San Giuseppe is a historic house surrounded the city’s beautiful baroque architecture in the centre of Lecce, right in the heart of Salento. This stunning luxury home is in the charming Palazzo Libertini, behind Piazza Sant’Oronzo and just a short walk from Piazza Mazzini. Dimora San Giuseppe is one of Lecce’s most charming squares set against the backdrop of a city full of history, culture and magic originally built on ancient Roman amphitheater ruins, which are still visible today attracting thousands of tourists year after. You can comfortably step out of the door immediately into wonderful streets of the ancient historic center without ever being too far from your room.
We stayed here for two nights and below is a summary of what I would share about our stay. Pros Location is perfect (although it is a bit hard to find) Historic building with both elevator and stairs Breakfast Nice terrace AC worked well Cons Small room near the lobby (small even for European standards) Loud restaurants nearby Limited amenities Service was inconsistent No onsite parking even though it says otherwise on this site For me the cons outweigh the pros for a romantic getaway. If you are seeking easy access to nightlife, this would be a good spot.

In the heart of historic center, a 16th-century palazzo -Palazzo Astore-, originally an aristocratic residence and later a monastery, now houses the Azzurretta bed and breakfast establishment. A 200 mt Solarium-terrace equipped (lounges, chairs, tables) where sunbathing, eating, connect to free internet or simply relax surronded by historic momuments of the city. The buildings stand just 50 metres away from Piazza S.Oronzo, between the greek and greco-roman amphitheatres, in the middle of a maze of old alleyways. Independents rooms snd suites with private bathroom en suite, balcony or window complete with all comforts: fridge, free wireless, air-conditioned; services: cleaning room, change of the linen, Italian breakfast, safe box, parking, free wi fi.
Set in a 500 year old palazzo right in the centre of this delightful city, the rooms are spacious and provide a fridge and free bottled water. An enormous fresh breakfast is served on the roof terrace. The host loves what he does and goes out of his way to provide information. He also arranges tours and the highlight of our week was a wonderful day with him exploring the coastal towns and their hidden treasures. He knew a great deal more than the driver of he official tour we took.

My wife and I have visited Lecce three times over the past 7 years and have stayed at this place all three visits. I think we realized the reason we love Lecce so much is because of this hotel. Always Amazing service and such a wonderful property down to Evey detail. Francesca helped us with everything including going out of her way to help us with our Italian. Marco the owner must really practice great customer service with everyone he hires. Marta who helped us on our first visit also did a great job. Breakfast on the patio is the best we have had in Italy. Great location. When you leave you really feel like you have friends in Lecce. I think they convinced us to move there.

Palazzo Marini B&B di Charme is a perfect place to live an exciting yet intimate experience, in a welcoming and secluded environment. Housed in a historic and completely renovated 18th century building, Palazzo Marini B&B di Charme retains its original facade, designed in Florentine style by the architect Marini in 1899, as well as the typical Salento star vaults, both in the entrance hall of the building and in many of the rooms. The best monuments, the sopping area and the train station are all at walking distance. With our five rooms, we wanted to give you a little journey through time, proposing five different styles, each of them recalling past ages, but without depriving you of modern comforts. Come and relax on our large panoramic terrace, which offers a 360-degree view of the monuments and the roofs of the historic centre of Lecce. We offer a healthy and varied breakfast, which also includes typical features of the Salento area. Upon request, we also offer gluten-free products. We have adopted eco-friendly solutions, investing in energy efficiency, limiting the use of disposable plastic and offering, as much as possible, food products from the surrounding area CIS: LE07503562000020943
We had a beautiful room in a lovely building. Although the advertisement for the room said that it had a queen size bed and a sofa bed, it was actually a humongous king bed and was very comfortable. The breakfasts were very good with Orange juice, coffee, various baked goods, meats, cheese, and tomato slices, all provided by the hostesses with a smile. The main reason for giving this b&b a “4” rather than a “5” pertains to the check in and check out. We were told that the B&B was close to the train station, but since no directions were given, we had a hard time finding the building. When we checked out, there was a mistake in the amount charged as we were charged for six nights rather than five. When we brought this up to their attention, the problem was fixed right away.

This is a lovely small inn, tucked away of the street in busy Lecce. The owners are gracious, the grounds are peaceful and beautiful, and the rooms are Italian treasures. The breakfast basket hung on the door each morning contained delicious fresh, warm pastries. It was a pleasure to enjoy 3 nights here, one of which we were lucky enough to spend in the suite. Would highly recommend!
