Great value for money
Reviewed By Escape55754051309At only 36 euros, I overnighted in a very comfy, cozy and clean single studio with a full kitchen, sink, refrigerator. It's only 5 minutes by car to the A Corunia airport. I recommend it for everybody visiting for a business trip.

Excellent Value Hotel

Located in Calle Estrella, it is right in the middle of the city centre and its many brilliant bars and restaurants and close to the beautiful marina and beach. The room is simple but immaculate and very clean. The bed was very comfortable and despite its central location, the noise from the crowds outside was minimal. Eating at the restaurant is a must. I come from a Spanish family and know my Spanish food and theirs was exceptional and very reasonably priced with the bonus of being able to quickly collapse in bed after all that food washed down with several glasses of Albariño! The staff were really attentive and very friendly. You wont be disappointed.

Reviewed By Angu5Located in an apartment block adjacent to the streets with the restaurants. We stayed one night on a Thursday and it was very busy and noisy nearby. They don't do breakfast. Parking available in the huge public underground car park about 5 minutes walk away, but this does cost over EUR 20 for one night.

Located in the heart of the city, in Santa Catalina Square. The last renewed was in July 2011.The property has 8 double rooms, with full private bathroom, LCD TVs, central heating, and free WIFI. It is just two minutes walking to the Beaches (Riazor and Orzan), the Harbor and Mendez Nuñez Gardens. The hostel is close to Maria Pita City Hall Square and to the Deportivo de la Coruña Stadium. La Coruña is a beautiful city, not too big and perfect for walking. We would be glad to help you with your cultural and leisure routes, and recommend tapas bars and restaurants.

Reviewed By F6100ONcristinalIs it a fancy room? No Do they get the basics right? Definitely! Clean, perfect for a short stay. The best feature, without a doubt, was the service. Even though this location is unmanned, communication was seamless and really friendly. And really helpful! From helping me to find out how to get from the airport to the location (even called the bus company to check the timetable), to sending you a list of best places to eat in the area, or recommending how to organise your visit to the city.

Office by the stairs so that you can be seen whenever you leave or enter the hotel if that makes you feel more secure about unwanted guests. I was given a detailed rundown on what is on the tourist map when I arrived and it helped me get out and about in an interesting town.

We extended the days a few times because we were buying a motorcycle to continue our travels! No prob! Manager was so helpful and the neighborhood is urban but has so many restaurants and services, fruit stands and bakeries around the corner. Close to beaches and shopping. Near noisy streets but the windows are triple paned! Very quiet when they are closed!

A good budget hotel
Reviewed By David9899This wasn't our first choice of hotel. The place we wanted to stay was booked out. Nonetheless, we had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Moon. It's a very good budget hotel, but don't expect the world in terms in room facilities (e.g. no kettle). The staff were very helpful, especially the guy who is mostly on the reception desk, who spoke good English. Some of the staff on the desk in the evenings had limited English, but this wasn't a problem. Room size varies. My travel companion had a much larger room but my cosy room was fine. The main drawback is that the hotel is a good 20 minutes walk from the old part of A Coruna which is where most of the tourist attractions and restaurants are located. But its a reasonably pleasant walk. Plus you will save money by staying at Moon.

Reviewed By luicciz2016Increíble el trato del personal súper cercanos y muy amables, hasta nos regalaron unas botellas de agua por la noche para que no saliéramos a comprarlas en una máquina de vending (que es justo lo que le pregunté), la habitación limpia, bonita, cómoda, sin duda súper contentos con lo que nos tocó, la única pega pero no es por el hotel es por la zona que en findes hay mucha gente de fiesta, pero sin duda el hotel relación calidad /precio es increíble. Súper recomendado y sin duda volveremos más veces.
