room without (real) windows
Reviewed By Jurgen BI had a big and comfortable room but it had windows that you couldn't see through. Horrible I think. Breakfast was poor (quite a lot of choice but products of low quality, only nescafe, no real coffee and so on). The toilet next to the restaurant was not taken care off. Lots of street noice at night (but this is perhaps only in the weekends). Otherwise great location and perfect airport pick-up.

Inexpensive place to sleep near the airport
Reviewed By Dean-TravellerThe cost to stay in Continental Inn is inexpensive for accommodation in Kuwait. Al Farwaniyah is a short taxi ride from the airport and buses leave from the street outside the hotel for both the city centre, beach area and Avenues shopping centre. The room was large in keeping with international hotel chains. There was a fridge with bottled water, but no tea or coffee. to go with the kettle in the room. Room and ensuite shower room were clean. Air conditioning worked fine. Reception staff were friendly and efficient. They organised the airport transfer which was part of my rebooked deal. Breakfast buffet choice was reasonable. There is no evening meal provision but restaurants and cafes are just a short walk outside. The pool did not look good. The film on top looked like the pool saw little use. There was no disturbance from either the busy streets nor the neighbouring mosque.

Reviewed By Ibrahim MIt's close to my house and very easy access really nice stay there for 2days mostly all GCC citizens staying from Saudi and Bahrain Qatar it's has fancy lights onside which is a good way to find the hotel

Basic, friendly, good value
Reviewed By PanicstrickenchickenGood old Al-Bahrain is reportedly the cheapest hotel in Kuwait City. I certainly haven't found any hotel with a lower price yet. Excellent location behind Safat Sqare, a few minutes' walk from Wataniya Souk and Mirqab (Liberation Tower) bus station (Bus no. 13 to/from airport for 250 fils). Old and worn, but not dilapidated. Rooms and beds old but clean enough (no insects or yucky stuff). Old and noisy, but fully operational air-conditioners. Shared bathrooms are old (yes I know I'm repeating myself...) but fully functional (hot water) and very clean. Elevator. Friendly reception, though not much English spoken. No breakfast included or even available...? (I never tried or asked.) 10 dinars for a room (a rate that hasn't changed for years). Guests seem mostly from the region; I have not seen a westerner yet. A no-frills, hassle-free place for a good night's sleep at a rate that cannot be matched.

Reviewed By BangoraI stayed there for one night on a business trip, the suite had two bedrooms with two bathrooms with access to hot water which actually you don't need at all,Not bad, well furnished, near city centre, easy access to everything around you. A word of advice let the water flow for a while before using it otherwise you will get burnt.

Reviewed By NoafieThis is a clean and decent option for families if you prefer hotel apartments. We rented the 3 bedroom apartment for just under a week. The rooms are fair in size and the apartment was cleaned whenever we requested. The location is central, with the beach front and Marina Mall less than 5 minutes driving distance. Make sure you take your own towels & toiletries along.

Reviewed By saahirp2020I do not usually post reviews but I felt it was only right to share and take a moment to recognise and show my appreciation to all the staff at Corniche hotel Kuwait. Managed by the highly competent Mr Salem, and very well supported by the entire team I would like to thank each and every staff member who went out of their way to provide what I would class as the' best customer service I have experienced' whilst staying in Kuwait Anything and everything I had requested from all staff members was delivered above expectations in a professional and efficient manner. The hotel had a solution to any potential problem(even if this was outside of their scope of work) and I felt they really went out of their way to ensure both myself and my group were satisfied. Corniche is located right in the centre of the marina with all the major shopping districts and restuarants within a couple of minutes walking distance. Other benefits include: Spacious rooms Excellent showering facilities Very good wi-fi connection Delicious food Fantastic customer/room service Overall a very comfortable stay I would not hesitate to recommend Corniche Hotel to any potential bookers. Thank you once again for making my stay an enjoyable one and I look forward to returning to Corniche in the near future.
