Family run pension, pleasant stay
Reviewed By KockaRA few minutes from the Krk city centre the new family run hotel is well equipped. The staff (members of a family) are very helpful, there is plenty of parking space, maybe the premises - being new - lack some shade or a shady garden, which in September was only relevant for breakfast - speaking of which there is a buffet, but the kitchen is ready to fulfil your demands (e.g.pancakes, eggs, etc). Rooms are tastefully equipped, rather minimalistic, and enough distant from the city centre to assure a good night's sleep. All in all, we as a middle-aged couple had a nice weekend relaxation in this pension with enjoying the evening strolls and great dinners in the beautiful city of Krk.

The host is great and wery welcoming. He even serves breakfast in the rooms. Thumbs up for it! Parking is provided at the facility so, no worries. To conclude, staying at this property is highly recommanded.

Very nice Bed & Braeakfast
Reviewed By heidij763We had a very nice time at B & B Mario. The owner Mario and his staff were so friendly, and we felt very welcome from the minut we arrived. We got help with our luggage, and our car were parked at a private parking lot. The B & B is only a few minutes walk fra the beautiful beach and the town Krk. The rooms were nicely decorated, and we got a nice view to the ocean. The A/C was working perfectly, and the was even a small fridge. The bathroom had a shower and the towels were soft and nice. Everything seemed quite new. Breakfast was included in the price, and we got everything we needed. Bread, fruit, ham, cheese, eggs (prepared after your taste), juice and cake. We loved it. The B & B has a restaurant. We only tasted the pizzas, and they were very good. I can highly recommend Marios Bed & Breakfast. We will defiantly go back some day.

Very good value for money
Reviewed By IbdalStaying in Krk is generally a pleasant experience. Though touristy and crowded at times, there is also a relaxed vibe going on at most places. Looking for accommodation in Krk can be a daunting task with nearly endless options. If you are looking for a quiet spot just outside the hassle of the city center, Villa Ana is a very good choice. Be aware that there is a 10 minute walk from the town centre to Villa Ana up a rather steep hill. No problem for most people though. We spent 9 days in apt. 3, which comes with two bedrooms and an excellent view over the ocean. The apartment was clean, spacious and well equipped. The beds are much better than places like this usually offer. Great for families traveling with children, but there are also different options on offer. I highly recommend staying here. I have to mention that the sound proofing is poor, so you'll hear the neighbors talking and using the bathrooom. A bit annoying during the night but otherwise no big deal. Payment can only be done with cash. If coming from a country with Euros I quess it's not a big deal, but withdrawing high amounts of cash in foreign countries is not only expensive, but also a time consuming annoyance, as it takes several days to get the required amount because of card limits etc. Villa Ana expects to be able to handle card payment next year.

A great little find not too far from town.

We were met by the lady owner who didn't speak much English but we understood her husband would be in soon and would explain everything to us, and he did just that he was great. He took us for a short tour of the area in his car showing us the best supermarket to use and which restaurant he would recommend, he even gave us safety advice on crosssing the road on the route to town. On day 2 Mrs Delfin called to us with a dish of small fish marinated in herbs and oil with some bread. The place was spotless and very comfortable. They definately went that extra mile to make us feel welcome and for the service that they gave I think this is a bargain price. Highly recommended we would definately stay there again.

Reviewed By 88doristWe enjoy it. We came with our family on 14 days and we had everything we wanted. Nice big swimming pool and bih balcony. The weather was also good. We reccomend it, we made really good barbecue over there :)

My new home in Krk
Reviewed By Heli POver the years I have stayed at different places in Krk town, hotels and guesthouses, here I finally feel having found what I like, room with balcony, good location and friendly owners. I had previously been a guest at their popular restaurant so it was easy to contact Josip with email. The room had a large double bed and the covered balcony was the size of a second room, situated in the annex facing the quiet back garden. The owners Josip and Tamara were very helpful even when I wanted to prolong my stay by an extra day, together they speak English, Italian and German. Breakfast is basic Croatian with bread, cheese, ham, salami and hot or cold drinks served both inside or out on the sunny terrace. The three storey building is located just a short walk from the bus station
