A town literally carved into the volcanic rock, Goreme is the gateway to the Goreme National Park, a vast UNESCO World Heritage Site that houses spectacular 10th- and 11th-century cave churches. The park itself is known for its chimney rock formations and is very popular with backpackers. It’s also a great area to sample Turkish cuisine and wine.

Staff is the best of this hotel. Everyone is ready to help you with any question you have. They arranged private and shared shuttle to the airport, and evetything worked as expected. We also booked a private tour for Cappadocia region, and it was amazing. I recommend its travel agency, specially Ali. Amazing guide. Although, lady in the breakfast does not speak English, she is really nice. Sometimes at night, rooms was really hot, even when the AC was on.

Only 10 minute walk to the bus station and center of Goreme, this is the perfect location to access valleys and watch hot air balloons.
The staff is very friendly, the terrace has an exceptional view on the balloons. They also have access to some of the best deals in town for tours and air balloons. I was welcomed from the very beginning with a traditional tea, they explained the smoking policy/breakfast/checkin and checkout times/ tours/ and everything basically, then check in took place and I was showed my room. The room was clean and all the Other facilities. I would recommend it for any traveler around Göreme, because it is very close to the centre of Göreme.

We absolutely loved our stay here at Arif. Never thought this would become the highlight of our trip?!! We stayed in 2 room types and both were spacious and oh so charming. The executive room blew our mind. Some cave rooms we searched seemed windowless and dark (was afraid of feeling claustrophobic) but here the rooms have natural light..super pleased! Actually, what trumped the rooms was the impeccable service here. I can't thank Han and Ahmet enough for taking care of us in so many ways. Felt homely..so much so that we really did not want to leave! To top it off, the view at the rooftop area was so good that we didn't even bother going to the sunset hill point. I wish them and the other service staff well. Hope to return one day! (Norman and Heather from Singapore) One more thing, the green tour and ATV tour they helped us book were awesome.

Arrived at ISP international from a flight from the US at 18:15, cleared customs about 7pm went to right once you exit customs to store checked bags for 2 days and made it to the new flight with 30 minutes to spare for a 20:15 departure Arrived in Kayseri airport around 21:30 and rented a car at Sixt. Drove to Sobek Stone House arrived about 23:00( a little over an hour drive) and was greeted by a nice young man. Hotel is fairly new and very clean. Staff was always friendly and free parking under 24 hours cameras was a plus but no issues with crime in this beautiful friendly town of Goreme. Rooms were nice and Clean, we opted for 2 single beds since a lot of tossing and turning from the long flight and we’re a little bit disappointed in the firmness of the beds, kind of like sleeping on a ironing board, we love firm beds but this was a new level of firm. Maybe it was the long flights and lack of sleep but the pillows were very comfortable. Rooms are super silent being a solid stone building and no noise from any surrounding rooms. Free WiFi, free breakfast and a 3rd floor terrace for viewing the ballon’s at 5am(don’t miss it) is absolutely amazing! Breakfast was good with plenary of choices just be creative and add nuts apricots and raisins to you cereals and make sure to ask for the free omelet that is cook fresh for you without any ingredients ( just some scrambled eggs served fresh and hot) Our ballon ride is for tomorrow morning and we’re excited. Renting a car is the way to go! Don’t buy into the tours that I’m sure every hotel is aggressively selling because you can cover all the cool sites yourself in one day which we did today and it took us on a loop surrounding Goreme which was about 30 miles. Everything is right near Goreme and so easy to access with a rent a car. Tomorrow morning is the ballon ride to top off all the sights from the ground and now will be in the air to see it all. Check out is 12pm and once we’re back from ballon we’ll eat, take a nap and head to an underground city north of here on the way back to the airport. Beautiful hotel and amazing area to explore but don’t think your going to miss anything because all you need is two days.

We visited Goreme on May 2022 and stayed at Vista Cave Hotel during a night. We were lucky to have a room with a terrace looking straight to sunset point from where we had a lovely sight of the town. The hotel had a nice breakfast and a lovely terrace to watch the sunrise with the balloons, but more importantly, it had a lovely staff. We arrived late and without plans, but they were able to help us book a tour and the balloons without a previous book when no agencies were offering us that alternative. I Highly recommend this hotel. Thank you for all your help guys and all the best!
