Excellent food and decoration
Reviewed By saroyan07Inside felt so warm and cozy, the food was delicious. There is wifi and nice jazz playing, there is a piano that can be played if you know how. Nice view outside but it was cold when I visited. Bar is also available with many drinks.

Tour of the lake, total immersion in a local Armenian family where we speak French, excursions in the region and throughout the country, fishing on the lake, bathing in natural hot water pools, meeting with the locals, crafts, kitchen, etc.

Reviewed By sonah849We stopped by for lunch at this guest house in Vardenis and were met with a beautiful spread of locally sourced Armenian food - freshly made yogurt soup and cheese from local dairies, fresh fruits and vegetables to go along with grilled kebabs and pilaf. The only thing better than that was the hospitality and generosity of the Barseghyan family. I recommend anyone visit if they are looking for an opportunity to experience the true, authentic Armenian spirit.

Reviewed By Анастасия СПять комнат на одном этаже, на пять комнат один туалет и один душ, который практически не работает. Освещение в поселке отсутствует. Сутки стоят 12000 драм ( это 25 дол.) неоправданно дорого. Телевизора нет. Полный привет!!!Останавливайтесь в отеле VAN, в этом отеле дешевле, все новое и с завтраком. Двухместный номер 10000 драм (20 дол.) Удачи. Отзыв от 20.09.2018 г. Николай.

Beautiful location
Reviewed By JJHDerbyshireThis Soviet era art deco structure was originally designed for government ministers, so it is over-the-top in terms of scale. The lobby and the rooms are huge (we had two double beds, a single bed and a three-piece suite in our room!). It is certainly very comfortable and clean and the early morning views of the mist rolling across the turquoise water of the lake are beautiful but it was odd that we had to walk 100 metres to a seperate building for breakfast. The food was good and the staff welcoming and helpful. If it weren't for the long walk to breakfast (fortunately it wasn't raining) I would have given it 5 stars.
