I had such an amazing time at mizata that I extended my stay by a whole week. The staff here is so sweet and goes above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable and having fun. The food is amazing every dish I had in as finished with no crumbs left. Kevin and Daniel are always making sure every question and concern I have is addressed and are what made my experience so special. The rooms and views are spectacular as well and you are truly steps away from the beach. Erick was my surf coach and he is without a doubt the best surf coach I’ve ever had. I had so much fun surfing with him everyday and progressed so much in such a short amount of time. Roco is an awesome tour guide and I throughly enjoyed every tour I went on with him. Overall my stay was perfect and I really cannot wait to be back!

Since 2004, I've traveled each year with a group from Washington D.C. Ethical Society to visit El Salvador. Nearly every time we've come, Oasis has been our go-to place to rest, refresh and get ready to go to work with our friends in Cabanas. Due to Covid, we have not been able to travel for two years running. Last November, we decided to make the trip and we are so glad that we did. The staff at the Oasis gave us a warm welcome. They took great care to always have masks on and gave us great information for our travels. We felt totally cared for and safe. And they have upped their game. The food was delectable and the beautiful plants and paintings are out of this world. We hope to return in June and will make Oasis a part of our journey.

Over 34 years of experience bringing national and international customers the best of taste in our restaurant. Our menu includes: delicious barbecue steaks, poultry and seafood, as well as seafood cocktails, appetizers, tropical fruit beverages and international bar. To end the exquisite meal, try our acclaimed "quesadilla" (cheese bread), baked on clay oven, accompanied by our tasty gourmet coffee. We are a countryside hotel and restaurant consisting of 10.44 acres of land, with spacious gardens and surrounded by century trees where a diversity of birds nest and provides a pleasant, relaxing ambiance. Some of the neighbours in our mini-zoo include: monkeys, macaw birds, deer, parrots, toucans and other species.
We went to this place on a Sunday for a family fun day and it was a great choice. We had a blast. Its a good place for children and for laidback people. The service is good, frozen drinks are fantastic but food can use some improvement. This place is non pretencious, make sure you arrive early to get a great “ Glorieta” and dont forget the “ Hamacas”.This place is approximately 30-45 mins drive from San Salvador.

n 1920 , Doña Graciela Jimenez, spoused to Don Alfonso Cornejo Guerrero, lived in this house built in the late nineteenth century. Despite being a married couple, they both used to live in different houses as an unusual way of being married. Don Alfonso was a man who was strictly commited to agriculture, especially, the coffee business and he prefered to keep his ‘workspace’ in another house across the park, the house where he lived in. Doña Graciela was fully commited to the house chores and she prefered not to get involved with her husband’s work affairs. People who have worked for both of them, say that every single day Don Alfonso would come to visit her for lunch, in the afternoon they both would have a cup of coffee and arroz con leche (Don Alfonso’s favorite dessert), and when the sun came down he would have dinner with her, it was a ritual: Playing boleros, having a glass of brandy and smoking an Habano. Doña Graciela’s house suffered two important transformations: In 1962, after her death, the house walls were enhanced in order to strenght the house’s structure; and in 2001, after an 7.8 earthquake hit El Salvador, the whole infrastructure was reinforced but always keeping the colonial style that always characterized the house. Currently the house is owned by Doña Graciela’s grandson and great-grandson and over the years, this house has been used as a rest home. During the past 15 years, the house has always been an attraction to both national and international tourists who would ask to go inside the house just to take pictures. Nowdays, Casa Degraciela opens the doors as a Boutique Bed & Breakfast to receive anyone who appreciates an environment of elegance and good taste, privacy and of course, an outstanding quality of service. Casa Degraciela is now 150 years old. The house’s antiqueness, its architectural beauty, the comfort of its facilities, the quietness (despite being located in the middle of the city) and the nearness of the best bars and restaurants in town… makes of you stay an unforgettable experience. Each room is differently decorated with antique furniture used by all our ancestors. Even if you’re staying in a 150 years old house, the experience suits to the highest standards of comfort and quality of modern hotels nowdays.
Cada Degraciela is simply breathtaking. Its rooms are clean, comfortable and charming. The hotel’s location is key for a beautiful stay. Finally, the hotel’s staff was friendly and the service provided was perfect!

The 5* reviews on this place is spot-on! Although I’m not a Buddhist, what a beautiful place to practice a Zen lifestyle. The outdoor shower is so refreshing to bathe under the canopy of a blue and cloudless sky (at least while we were there). The staff is extremely kind and friendly, but, not in an intrusive way. If you need anything they are at your leisure. My daughter and I truly enjoyed our 2-night stay to reconnect after her last 2 semesters away at college. I enjoyed trying the variety of meals on offer. It was all pretty consistent and very good. Would definitely stay here again just to slow things down and contemplate. Felt like a world away from everything. -Katrina

Perched on a lush cliff on El Salvador's eastern pacific coast, overlooking the deserted beach and surrounding tropical vegetation. Hotel Los Mangos offers a warm home atmosphere for you to enjoy an excellent stay. The only Eco Boutique Hotel in the area where you really relax. Enjoy the morning sunrise or beautiful sunset at night with a nice sea breeze and a spectacular ocean view. One of the main advantages of Hotel Los Mangos is that it overlooks world class surf point break Punta Mango. The location is 9 km west of El Cuco beach at Los Mangos beach in eastern El Salvador.
Views and place are very beautiful, unfortunately service at restaurant was not very good, food is average. Communication when making reservation was really poor and not accurate. Seemed to be under staffed. Although staff was nice we waited over an hour for a meal for 9 people

Our hotel is situated on the second floor of Casa Sentalia at 250 Avenida la Capilla, Colonia San Benito, in the heart of one of the most sought after neighborhoods because of its central location and proximity to cultural activities and popular restaurants.
This is by far the best Hotel I have ever stayed at. The pictures on the website don’t do the property justice. My family (1 year old, 3 year old, 21 year old, and husband) & I recently stayed for a week and the experience was amazing. Here are some key details I want to share. The breakfast is authentic, healthy, and prepared by a chief. Breakfast came with fresh squeezed orange juice and freshly made cashew milk. This isn’t something you would find in America. The hotel has security that watches over your cars (we rented one). The security will also walk out into the road and stop traffic without us having to ask him. The cleaning ladies are amazing! We had a ton of wet clothes (from the lake & beach) that needed to be dried before packing. The cleaning lady hung our clothes out to dry and rotated them while we were out exploring. We told her we needed some hangers so that WE could do it. She was so kind enough to do it for us! My son threw one of his metal Paw Patrol cars into the tiny pond they have. For those of you who don’t know. The special edition Paw Patrol true metal cars can only be bought in a pack (we paid $45). It was a bummer but we obviously explained that the pond was deep and we couldn't get it out. Our son asked us if we would try, so we went and bought a pole to try and get it out (we try to teach our kids to try and problem solve. The car obviously was worth it to my son). The staff told us not to worry that they would try. The pond was like 6ft deep…but after 3-4 days they got it out!!! We were so grateful!! The hotel overall was so clean! The garden outside has tables that you can eat breakfast or lunch at. It is so beautiful. Makes it feel like you are eating in the middle of a mountain. They have a small market inside and a juice/ smoothie bar. The juice/smoothie bar was so amazing. All local & fresh products! After a long day of exploring, coming back and being able to order a smoothie was so refreshing. The TV is equipped with youtube and netflix for younger children. It is close to a lot of great eating spots. If you are looking for a place that gives you “El Salvador” this is the place to stay at. Your kids will have a blast exploring their garden area while you eat. It also makes a good location for cool pictures.

It is what you see in pictures. I have the same shots. Its worth giving three stars only. You only get secured parking, cleanliness and spectacular view of the ocean . Thats it! Don't expect anything more. Their food overpriced. If you ask for OJ refill, its extra. The beach in front of the property is inaccessible. You would have to go to El Majagual Beach. Which I don't recommend or El Zonte not recommend either. The whole Surf City area is overrated. The pool service is less than mediocre The pool itself becomes boring. It s very dark after sunset and pool service it non existing . The towel service is horrible. Depending on your party needs. You get cards that need to be exchanged at front desk every time you need towels or need to be returned after use. Making inconvenient when you are with wet swimming clothing. Also a hazard in the lobby area if you are wet. Never seen this policy in Cabo, Hawaii or other resorts. In Conclusion , you are just paying for the view of the ocean. If you stay overnight. Day pass is better recommend. Forgot! The service at the restaurant was excellent. I take my hat off for the crew.

This place is out of this world. I had to reopen my eyes like 5 times before actually starting to believe that yes, I was well awake. Imagine the following: You wake up at around 5:30 in the morning, step outside to the terrace, sit down on the most comfortable chair in the whole wide world, kiss a giant coffee cup with your lips while you let the fresh mountain air take you to a full relaxation mode. If there is a paradise somewhere, it is this address. Absolutely mind-blowing place with nothing but the beauty of nature around you. You actually start believing that you're in heaven.
