Recently stayed for 2 nights whilst visiting Dubbo. Hotel is close enough to town to walk, although a bit further than the other pubs. Room was large enough with an ok size bathroom. Room and bathroom were clean. No fridge in room. Pub was ok. Didn’t eat here. Drinks on the expensive side. Would stay again if visiting Dubbo again.

Used to always stay here in the early 2000’s, but it slipped significantly, so stopped staying. A friend recently recommended I try it again, and very glad we did. Hotel is well located, off the 2 busy through roads in Dubbo, and appears to have undergone a significant refresh. Our Room ( 5 ) was excellent. ……plenty of room, great beds, very modern / clean and great bathroom facilities. We received a complimentary drink voucher each, on check in and Tarif included a very nice hot buffet breakfast. Tariff was very reasonable. I also invited family from Dubbo, to join us for dinner in the Bistro. Excellent food and service. Our family confessed they had not been here for some years, but we’re very impressed and will be back again soon. Great to be back at the Macquarie Inn and will stay here again when next visiting family in Dubbo…. Great that it has returned to its former glory days.

Stayed for one night in the master room with adjoining room for our teenage kids. Ensuite shower head was too low but aside from that, we found the property charming. For the price it was much better than a boring motel. Played on the giant billiard table and enjoyed the soaring ceilings of all the rooms and making our own continental breakfast. Some of the flaws since the previous reviews have been fixed and the other imperfections didn’t bother us. We will stay again next time we visit the zoo.

Our stay at Pericoe Retreat was amazing. Kem and Ross are brilliant at what they do. The food was exceptional. The property is beautiful. The Garden suite was pet friendly and had everything we needed and more. The only down side was we could only stay one night. We would love to stay here again.

Oh my goodness, these reviews are bringing back memories. My friend and I stayed at Bulwarra for 2 nights a couple of years ago with our daughters, who were then 7. On arrival, Judy spent the first 20 minutes telling the girls all the things they were not allowed to do. She then said if they could behave, she could promise them a whole bunch of fun animal-related experiences the next day. Whereupon she disappeared completely and we never saw her again. Next we heard from her was phone call as we were driving away to say she’d just tried to process my credit card and it had been declined. I don’t know whose credit card she was trying to process, but it wasn’t mine. I never gave her my credit card details because I had paid in full via bank transfer months before. The whole experience was so appalling, we bypassed “angry” and went straight to “hilarious”.

Dubbo's favourite boutique style motel with 4 star rating and luxury at affordable price. New 24 hour self serve check in kiosk offers late night travellers the opportunity to get a good rest. Call in, select an available room, pay by credit card and collect your key, all in a few minutes. Conveniently located minutes walk from the heart of the city and only a short walk to the bowling clubs, hotel, award-winning bakery, Dubbo railway station, hospitals, Auto Alley, showground and Old Dubbo Goal. Five minutes drive to the Dubbo Airport and Taronga Western Plains Zoo. The Endeavour Court is big enough to offer variety and small enough to ensure friendly service.
This is a great motel, large and comfortable rooms. It was only when I drew back the curtains that that I remembered it is on the Newell Hwy - I didn't hear anything overnight. The Manager Tony seemed genuinely interested in me which was nice after a long drive.
