Recently renovated, our 2 star hotel in Morteau is located in the heart of the “Watchmaking Country” and in close proximity to Switzerland. Situated close to restaurants, Morteau train station, cinemas and the theater. Our establishment offers 18 rooms all equipped with bathroom or shower room, desk area, large TV flat screen, and free Wifi. A varied and generous buffet breakfast is served in a warmly decorated room (offered to children under 12). A free public car park is available right behind the hotel (except the first Tuesday of the month). For our biker and cyclist friends, a private and closed garage is at their free disposal. Our boiler room is also available to dry your clothes in the event of rain! Possibility of cleaning the V.T.T. The director of our hotel will always welcome you with a large smile and will be happy to assist you with any specific request (business stopover offer, meal tray/lunch box, gluten-free breakfast, baby equipment, group booking, advice for activities tourist or sporting…). a little beat on the outside..but a real gem of a place
Reviewed By Cubby VThis place was a real surprise. On paper it's an affordable two star hotel like so many others...and it's very affordable. However, because of a newly refurbished interior in the rooms, a sincerely charming host and a roof terrace and walking paths nearby through Meadows this place was a real delight. If you can get a bottom floor room overlooking the terrace go for it. Breakfast was extra so we ate at the boulangerie across the street. I would give this place an A plus for two star hotel. The rooms are tiny, but efficient and tidy...very very quiet too.

Reviewed By anaH2002ISThe only thing that we didn't like was that they didn't clean our room althought we put on the sign. After we slept, we wanted our room to be made. Unfortunately, it wasn't. Everything else was perfect!

Reviewed By austin dJust to get this down first! Nowhere in the description is it mentioned that there is a factory next door to this property! Funny that this has been overlooked. I like to write honest reviews about locations and places we have stayed so here goes. Yes it is a nice little place in a residential street just a short walk from the town whereyou can find the usual French shops and small Carrefour supermarket, and the gardens and grounds are pretty and well kept. However there is a timber factory about 100 metres from our window which made an annoying whining noise up to 19:30 hours and than started again at about 07:30 in the morning. So much so that i had to put the shutters down to dull the noise so i could rest up after a long drive up from Italy. The owner apperead friendly enough and polite but in the morning when we did not want to drink our coffee out of a soup bowl( never seen this in the western world) he seemed a bit moody giving us a mug each! More about breakfast....very poor indeed considering price. French bread and coffee and the cheapest youghurt pots you can get from the supermarket, handed out like you were in school. For £71 a nigh we paid this was naff, and having stayed at others on our trip that charged much less than this,at least they gave us a choice of patries and hams and cheese and a smile. The utensils in the kitchen provided were very minimal, so much that i had to boil pasta in a large teacup. Soap in the bathroom was only a quarter full as well. Being a bit picky yes maybe, but these cheap little things make a huge difference. To sum up, this was an overpriced noisy and generally uncomfortable cold stay. The only reason it was given a poor mark over a terrible one was beacause it was very clean and the room was large. You see, Honest review made.

Two rooms(chambers) in an atmosphere felted in the 3rd floor of a former(old) mansion built in the end of the XVIe, elegant house the Renaissance, right in the heart history of Montbeliard. You will dive into the history(story) of this remarkable house and will live maybe in a busy room(chamber) formerly, by prince Leopold-Frederic. Exceptional situation in full city center, just a step from the pedestrian street, the businesses, the restaurants, the cinema, the theater, the castle of Wurtemberg, museums. Has 5mn Peugeot factories, 10 mn of the museum Peugeot ou Japy. In 5mn of Eroveloroute Nantes-Budapest and marina and in December right in the heart of the Christmas market.

Reviewed By cocofred123Our room - the Eberhardine suite - had a very spacious bathroom and was really well appointed and wonderfully decorated, with nice high ceilings and a really comfy cozy bed. The breakfast was particularly marvelous (and we travelled for five weeks so have lots to compare with!), served on the balcony with an assortment of delicious items. Our hosts, the Golls, were lovely - so helpful in every way! We even borrowed their bikes one day and rode all along the river - fabulous! Plus they called the tourist office to introduce us prior to our visit there, since (although we're Canadian we're from the west) our French sucks. The B&B, in a cool, old baroque building, is really conveniently situated in the old town across from the Protestant church and only a short walk to several really good restaurants!

Reviewed By Elisabetta OGreat location, one of the best places we've ever stayed at! The room was really cosy, all the details were of excellent quality. The surroundings are just amazing! You can have nice walks in the woods and enjoy a delicious dinner cooked by the owners Lawrence and Émile. We'll surely go back!
