Helen and Patrice Goberville are your hosts at this superb B&B accommodation set in it own grounds on Golf Links Road, Westport, just five minutes walk from the town centre. This spacious residence has a seclusion and serenity that belies its closeness to the town.
Stayed at Woodside Lodge for a night visiting Westport with friends. The B+B is ideally located for visiting this beautiful town and our hosts, Patrice and Helen couldn't have been nicer. Lovely room but the breakfast is the jewel in the crown for this accommodation. Will return again. Thank you for a great stay.

Offically registered board failte irish tourist board listed 5 Star B+B verfied and inspected
This small B&B offers much more than the conventional Irish B&B (nothing wrong with them). The hosts are gregarious and engaging and made every effort to make us feel like we were the most important guests they ever had, The rooms are luxurious and well worth the reasonable cost. There is flair and oppulance with comfort and cozy...a difficult thing to pull off...but they did so. The bath facilities are sleek, modern and enticing...even a sauna. The breakfast is way more than the traditional full Irish with many options. The highlight for me was the porridge...it is worth the trip just for that. It was the best I have ever eaten. The rest is as good. These owners know how to treat their guests and it was in the top tier of the plkaces I have ever stayed (many...many) in Ireland.

Just returned from a two night stay here and to say that we were disgusted is putting it mildly, the hotel is absolutely filthy inside and out with not even basic hygiene practices in place, The bedrooms are very very basic and dated and certainly not worth a fraction of what they are charging for them. We will certainly never return there again and would never recommend it to anyone.

Nevins is situated on the Great Western Greenway & The Wild Atlantic Way at the mid point between Achill and Westport.
Very impressed by the NEVINS, we were at a wedding at a nearby hotel and stayed here for two nights. John, the owner was so helpful. We had a meal in the restaurant (served by Bella the robot). John took us to the venue and picked us up afterwards.

Our family run guesthouse offers luxury accommodation, a welcome retreat after a day of activity. Relax and prepare for the evening where you can sample local cuisine in one of the many restaurants within walking distance of Stella Maris, or join in with some of the traditional music in one of the local bars.
There aren't enough superlatives to use on how wonderful this place is. We had the Junior Suite with an amazing view of the sea and the mountains. En-suite bathroom, tea and coffee, TV with remote and Netflix. Breakfast in the morning was great, cooked-to-order, along with a buffet table of breads, juices and the like. Located in the village of Keel, the house is on the beach, and has its own access to the beach (which btw is over three miles long!). Two pubs and two restaurants are within a 2-4 minute walk. All the sights on Achill are within a ten-minute drive. Magnificent scenery on the Wild Atlantic Way drives. There is plenty of walking and hiking opportunity for all levels. Clodagh and family are super people! Negative: there is only one ATM on Achill Island and it's in the town at the bridge to the mainland. It's only a ten minute drive, (one way), and a bit inconvenient, but this is just nitpicking the location.

Boffin Lodge is a purpose built 3* Guest House.(1999)It has a wide variety of accommodation available incl a 4 Poster Room with open fireplace. Non Smoking. €35 p.p.s.p.n year round More favourable rates to be had for 2 or more night stay.
The staff was lovely and the room was clean and comfortable. Some of the reviews complain about the out-datedness of the bathrooms, but honestly that adds to the charm. It's well located near the coast in one direction and the cute town of Westport in the other direction - both walkable. The breakfast was absolutely delicious. You had several hot menu items to choose from and fruit, yogurt and pastries as well. Great little B&B with friendly Irish hospitality.
