Recently stayed at the Inn, to introduce another couple to our place of rest and relaxation. We were super excited to get one of the renovated rooms. The upgrades to the bathroom were very nice, the shower is much more user-friendly, and I love the new double sinks in the bathroom. Lots of upgrades on the grounds. Adirondack chairs in all the best places with a perfect view of the water. New furnishings around the pool. We had a lovely dinner at the restaurant, and the best night of sleep we have had in months. If you’re looking for a quick getaway, this place is a winner.I

We arrived very early and our room wasn’t ready yet but the women at the reception area were so pleasant and welcoming. They advised where we could go, offered to store our things and told us they would text when the room was ready. About 30 minutes later our room was ready. What a nice room but unfortunately it was on the 3rd floor (room #9). we live in Florida so we were not use to stairs. The Inn was in a great location, the staff was wonderful, the breakfast was so delicious we forgot about the stairs because everything else was perfect. We would absolutely stay there again but not in room 9.

This hotel was definitely not worth the price. My husband and I decided to book this location for an anniversary trip. As we walked in the hotel, we saw water dripping from the ceiling and the hotel had placed mop buckets to collect the dripping water. Also, the hotel is lacking in cleanliness. The one elevator was dirty and the hallways needed to be vacuumed. My husband and I requested our room be cleaned on day two and housekeeping never showed up. Furthermore, we requested clean towels two times and never received them. I did try to speak to someone about my concerns at checkout but supposedly all of the managers were off on vacation. I won’t be staying here again when I return to Charleston.

This review is actually about their other property, The Quarters on Spring also in Charleston. I guess it is a new (only on the outside) property of theirs. We booked this place 2 months ago. Everything around was either booked or so crazy expensive. Unbeknownst to us a very popular 10k race was taking place the weekend we were looking to visit Charleston. 3 nights in a studio apt cost us $1000.00. This was the least expensive we could find. On the outside it looked redone. We noticed lots of young people. We come to find out it’s in a college area. Lots of student housing all around us. Ok, back to the studio: NOISE! Like I’ve never heard before! It’s ON a Main Street at a light! Cars, busses, motorcycles, blasting music, people walking right at our window and door. NOISY, NOISY! The place was small. 1 little and vey uncomfortable couch with dirty little pillows was the only place to sit. An equally small coffee table had to serve as our dining area and our foot rest area. Only 1 outlet worked so we had to move the coffee maker onto the tv stand. The kitchen was ill equipped with no towels, 1 small plate, 2 forks and the NOISE!!!!!!!!!!!! There was a sound machine on the tiny and squooshed bedroom where we had to walk sideways to get into the bed! I wished we had been warned before we booked as to the location and condition of the place! If you are on the younger spectrum I’m sure you’d be fine with this place but as an okder person it was awful!!!!

It was very nice. Super convenient location. We especially enjoyed sitting on the patio watching the people and traffic go by and across the bridge. Breakfast was a $7 voucher per person at Rain and Bagel. We loved it. As advertised, there is no elevator. As a recent senior citizen, I began to feel it as I climbed to the third floor. The live-in innkeeper was super nice and accommodating. My wife called her about finding some board games and she located something for us. It was a very pleasant evening playing biard games or reading on the patio.

What a rare find! We have stayed in downtown Charleston for almost 2 decades. Not anymore- our new home away from home will be Inn at I'on. 13 room boutique hotel so close to everything. Took less than 10 min ( with red lights) to be downtown historic district while also having stores of Mt Pleasant right there- including Whole Foods, Trader Joes, and variety of shopping, services, and resteraunts. The hotel is located in an absolutely beautiful upscale neighborhood. I took long walks enjoying the homes, and picturesque lake and canals. Homes are Charleston style- truly beautiful, neighborhood clean, quiet and relaxing. If you are needing a break, singles trip, romantic get away, or any soul rejuvenating reason ( yes that includes shopping trips-:), this is the place for you! I would feel very safe to visit here along. On the corner several restaurants with bars serving really good food. Breakfast is included each morning from "Community Table Restaurant" that is attached to the inn, and was so fresh and delicious. A note to very early risers- the earliest you can get breakfast is 0830a, so may want to bring a snack if you are like me used to eating much earlier. Hotel also includes free parking in their lot. Really appreciate as downtown hotels charge astronomical rates on top of astronomical room prices. Inn was well below that with room pricing. The neighborhood has a club with tennis, pickle ball courts, workout room, and 2 really nice large pools. Included in your stay is ability to use the facilities. Bring your swimsuit- pool is climate controlled!I am an RN and very picky about cleanliness. This Inn was exceptionally clean, and the manger personally goes in after cleaned and sanitizes all touch points. I felt very safe here. Atmosphere very quiet! We stayed in adjacent building from main inn to have ultimate quietness for us early to bed early to risers. Our room had very comfortable king, linens, couch and small full kitchen with dining table. Very well appointed with all amenities, they thought of everything! Towels luxurious and soft! David, Amy, Kerria, Garrett a big thank-you and much appreciation for making our stay so fantastic and so safe! The staff at I'on truly love the property and their guests, and it shows in everything they do! Also enjoyed talking with them and learning more about this area of I'on. How refreshing to find this high level of caring and expert staff- even more so appreciated in today's Covid challenged environment.
