The De L'Etang is ideally situated on the sea front at Havre Des Pas opposite the public bathing pool. It is a friendly establishment with a homely atmosphere. The promenade across the road is perfect for a lazy stroll at any time - day or evening. Why not take a photo at high then low tide to admire the spectacular tidal range; the Island doubles in size at low tide! Although the sea views alone will be worth your stay, the De L'Etang is conveniently close to the town centre, main bus station, park and leisure complex, with a public car park nearby - perfect for exploring the island. Jersey has everything that is ideal for a holiday, safe, clean beaches, country walks, attractions and sports that appeal to all ages. You may enjoy a meal facing the sea or on the patio in our Taverna, fused with Greek and international dishes. For your enjoyment, the De L'Etang offers a lively lounge bar with a wide selection of your favourite drinks and cocktails. Drinks may be enjoyed outside on sunny days. The De L'Etang offers a selection of single, double, twin and triple rooms, where most have a sea view. The bedrooms all have an en suite bathroom with a shower and a hairdryer. Each room includes amenities such as free WiFi and digital TV channels.
Right on the beach, immediately opposite the Lido, this place is amazing. It is a guest house, so please be prepared for a slightly more basic room and stairs, but honestly it is one of the cleanest places I've been in a long time. All of the staff are super friendly, and make you feel at home, just ask them for anything and they help sort it. Breakfast is from the menu, but it's no bother to ask for anything off menu and for extras, all delivered without any problem. The scrambled eggs are amazing, and the extra toast was gratefully received, as was the lovely jersey butter. Was a really good set up for a days sight seeing. Evening meals here are also amazing. Totally amazing, try anything from the menu as its all very good. Portions are very generous and fresh. Bus stop to catch the number 1 bus to either the east coast, or to get to the bus depot is 2 minutes from the front door. There is a direct walk to the bus depot, which takes about ten minutes, or a really nice coastal walk around the hill, and passed the harbours which takes about 20 minutes. Buses from the depot can get you all over the island easily. The sea view is very special, and includes the lido. In summary, it was lovely.

The Old Courthouse Inn in St. Aubins is a recently refurbished icon of Jersey Hospitality. Epitomising the perfect balance of friendly and efficent service we ensure that your home away from home gives you some fantastic memories for all the right reasons.
My husband and I visited Jersey with our dogs, to stay with friends. We found The Old Court House via the Visit Jesey website as a dog friendly restaurant. I chose to eat here specifically as they had lobster on the menu. We dined "downstairs" in "the dog friendly bit". Booking was straightforward and we were even able to push our reservation back a bit after a busy day although on arrival we could see why as the place was pretty dead. When arrived the young waitress behind the bar was on her phone however, did quickly spot us and come off it to seat us. There was a wait to get menus, order drinks, order food and for our food to be served. When I enquired about the price of the lobster as it's POA on the menu I was bluntly told "we don't have lobster" with no apology or acknowledgement of my obvious disappointment. I opted for a sirloin steak instead. My husband ordered the chateaubriand with scallops. No steak knives were laid. My sirloin tasted like a cheap, pub rump and was cooked medium, instead of medium-rare as requested. I fed the majority of the steak to my dogs, enjoying the chips and my husband's scallops and ordering a pizza from St. Helier on the way back. My husband ate his steak but didn't enjoy it. The meal cost us £130 (without alcohol) so we weren't pleased. We weren't asked how the food was by our server when they cleared our plates and they weren't around as we ate, to be able to let them know our issues; we struggled to get drinks when empty for the same reason. The pepsi was nice. The ladies toilets were poorly fitted with a broken mixer tap which was loose and ill fitted and handwash jammed into it's wall fitting making it difficult to use. This could be a lovely place - it had a nice, cosy, relaxed ambience - but the food was very poor and the service was slow and inattentive. A complete waste of an evening and £130. We wouldn't return or recommend to others.

We came as a family of 4 to spend 3 nights in Guernsey. We really enjoyed the guest house feel and the information provided by the staff. Tobie was friendly and accommodating, as we needed to request 3 early breakfasts for our days trips and travel and he was more than happy to help. Breakfast was varied and plentiful including fresh fruit and guernsey milk. Tobie was very helpful lending beach towels and there is a nice selection of fruit teas which we had in the evening in reception. The location is a 15 min walk from the bus terminal and centre of town, a nice walk along the sea. The rooms were comfortable and cleaned daily with a top up of teas and coffees in the room. We would stay here again if we visited guernsey! Thank you to those at st Georges.

Had a lovely stay here comfortable clean rooms. The food is home cooked and delicious reasonably priced. A 10 minute walk to the beautiful harbour and beech .It may be a 2 star hotel but the manager Gabby and her staff are positively 5 star. There is ample free parking and a lovely outdoor area advise to book in advance

Fabulous guest house, just a 10 minute walk from the centre of St Peters Port. Room clean and very comfortable. En-suite also clean and shower hot. Excellent breakfast with selection of cereals and juice to help yourself to and a cooked breakfast made to order. Lots of toast and tea. Staff friendly and helpful. Packed breakfast made for us two days when we needed an early start. We stayed for a week and consider this guest house very good value.

How to describe the Queens, a little gem! The property is clean, tidy and homely. From the staff in the bar Jack and Elvis (yes his real name)to Marianne the lady cleaner all very friendly and helpful. Jonathon and his wife are very much hands on and can be found serving breakfast and then behind the bar at night. Food was really good and plentiful, but I would recommend booking in advance especially for lunch which always seemed to be busy. There was some noise on Friday and Saturday night but this is a pub, it was never excessive or continued late into the night. Getting round the island has a few problems as there is a shortage of taxis especially at night but the bus stops outside the church opposite that goes into town. A bargain fee of £1.25p for the trip which means you can go anywhere you like on the island for the same price. Overall we really enjoyed are stay here and will be back

Thought that we would try this place again after many years and we were surprised to find that the place had not changed at all neither had the menu the only change was the prices and the quality of service and food. The food served was very mediocre and also was luke warm at best the service was abrupt after serving the food we were not asked if we needed any other condiments and were also not asked if the food was okay. We got the impression that as the majority of the other diners when we were there appeared to be in their late 60's plus that the staff were only bothered delivering the food to the tables like in a care home. If you fancy stepping into a Remake of the film Cocoon I can recommend this place.

What a lovely hotel, the hosts were amazing and were really helpful about different things we wanted to know. The room we had was very clean, the bed was comfy and it was very quiet. The breakfast was superb and filled us up for the day. The Longfrie is ideally situated, with a car, or without. We didn’t have a car, the bus routes were good, to either the coast or into St Peter Port, and not far from the airport - also on bus route. A great friendly, welcoming atmosphere, unlike some hotels we have stayed in on Guernsey. We would definitely come back here again, and would highly recommend a stay here.
