B&B Fontevecchia is not just a real good value for money. The room was clean, comfortable and very modern. We had a mountain view and really enjoyed our quiet surroundings. The only thing you hear at night are the seagulls and the rustling of the trees. The accomodation is within a few metres away from the beach and good restaurants. The famous castle is only a couple of minutes by walk away. The owner, whom I m sorry to say forgot his name, a handsome tall man, :) was very friendly and polite, made sure we had this huge breakfast which really exceeded our expectations. Not only do I give this accomodation a 5+ star rating , but I would recommend it to family and friends and hope to visit again. One of the best ever.

Typical mediterranean style with bright colours inspired to the sea and terraces who feature Meli Hotel. Meli hotel overlooks the seafront of Castelsardo, not far from the Medieval historic centre which is one of the most beautiful village of Italy, from the port and the local beach.
It’s a shame that I can only give this hotel an average rating as the staff were lovely and the location is brilliant - very close to Castelsardo beach with a great view of the town and castle. However, the room needed a lot of TLC - the shower, toilet seat and hairdryer were all broken. The room also wasn’t always cleaned to the standard I would expect. That being said, the breakfast was nice with great service and we had one meal in the restaurant which was brilliant. There are also a few hotel parking spaces available although there is also free parking on the street outside. We sometimes struggled to get a spot though, even with us staying during the pandemic when it has been quieter. Be aware that there is no lift so you have to carry your luggage upstairs.

This is a wonderful B&B a 100 Mts.from the beach. It is very quiet and you don't need the air conditioning because the temperature drops and sleeping is comfortable. all rooms are super clean, the bed and the pillows are Tempur and you don't want to get up! I left the blinds semi-open to have fresh air in the room (that's why I didn't need to use the air conditioning), nevertheless it was super quiet and no mosquitos! The Management really want to make you feel welcome, even Franca has spoken to the locals in Italian for helping me out finding a place as of course, they are fully booked. I was late for staying here during my holidays but will return, for sure. They are truly excellent!

The Bed and Breakfast Sa Domo de Minnanna is set in the old town of Castelsardo, just a few minutes far from the sea, in the enchanting coast of Asinara Gulf. The Bed and Breakfast has three spacious bedrooms, two double and one twin, with en suite bathroom each, (the two double rooms have en suite bathroom while the twin room has a adjacent one) and a led tv. The house has not air conditioning because the thick stone walls keep it naturally cool in summer and warm in winter. Italian breakfast is served in the small but characteristic kitchen. The wi-fi zone it's included in the price.
The rooms are in an old town house - the first to be built below the fortress, and were spacious, clean and comfortable. Getting there through the old streets was an adventure with the car but we hired a small car and could park right outside the door. A big fridge is available, so we could cool our drinks and food overnight, and breakfast was laid out for €5 extra (well worth it). Overall a nice place to stay in the heart of town.

B&B Nonna Sini is sure to make your visit to Castelsardo one worth remembering.
I'll start with saying that I have already stayed in B & B Nona Sini in September 2015, which means, in fact, that I am already your return guest. What was in September 2015: a room with a good fresh renovation, a small bathroom with a shower (which was enough for me), a large area of the room (my large suitcase fitted unfolded), balcony with side sea view and a direct view of the castle on the mountain, a table, and high-speed Wi-Fi. Michela was running the apartments in 2015, her brother Luca is running it this year. Now about September 2018. Triple room have one double bed and one single bed, three bedside tables about the size of the palm of my hand, the size is only to put a glass of water on it, the window with a view of nowhere and view on stepladders, the noisy air conditioning, the old wardrobe of 80's style made out of dark wood, the chair, the mirror. In the bathroom: shower, bath, table with a sink, toilet, bidet, trash can, candle, chair, rug, towel set, shower gel, soap, window with a view of nowhere. There is the water heater in the box under the sink, which didn't provide enough hot water to fill the entire bath (max 10 sm). The candle is probably for a romantic evening in cold water. The stylistics of the room is diverse, all furniture and things seemed to be snatched from different rooms and moved to this defective room. I did not spend much time in my room, so I can close eyes to many shortcomings. The breakfast as opposed to 2015 was worse: there were less buns-pies, capsules for only espresso - very strong coffee. In 2015 there was a choice of different capsules: decaffeinated, weaker, stronger and so on. I can close eyes for the breakfast as well - I didn't come to eat eventually. The biggest disadvantage is the Internet: for Europeans mobile operators make the Internet all over Europe at equal tariff, so Europeans do not particularly worry about the Internet in the hotel. At least, the European always has a mobile Internet, for which he pays, for example, 30 euros per month. Russia is not included in Schengen and the Internet is tariffed differently. 1 month of unlimited Internet at the rate of the Russian mobile operator costs about 170 euros. I chose apartments B & B Nona Sini with the condition that there will be the Internet access: I need it for work and for communication with friends and parents. Wi-Fi was only one day out of seven. All the rest of the time there was announcement with apologies. On the 4th day I suggested Luca to buy a SIM card with unlimited Internet. The negotiations were successful and the rest 3 days were fine. If it's not bad internet and the room, I would give the B & B Nona Sini high rating.

Baricentrico.
