Traditional village-style resort located on 8 hectares of coconut plantation, immersed in nature, with a private beach facing the South China Sea. Outdoor restaurant proposing local favourites and pizzas. Aroma River Spa treatments in a soothing natural mangrove environment. For rediscovering the luxury of doing just nothing, while enjoying a relaxing simplicity. Activities & tours are also available for guests wishing to explore the island. Value for money with a strong track record, established since 2005, as a 1-star property providing 5-star service. Respectful of the environment and working together with the local community... guests' contributions go a long way, by supporting the resort's eco-committment. Now connected to the electricity grid and with free wifi. Mutiara Beach Resort is an authentic Bintan experience, off the beaten track!
The Mutiara Eco Beach Resort was our first stop on a trip to Singapore and India. I really wanted a beachy part of the trip and Singapore just doesn't do beaches (not the way I wanted). I booked 2 nights at the Mutiara and I am so glad that I did. After landing in Singapore we raced to the ferry terminal and took the Sindo Ferry to Bintan Island. The resort was very responsive to messages and help me set up a driver who picked us up and drove us to Mutiara. When we arrived we were soooo tired from traveling for 18 hours from the US West Coast. Everything about Muitara was perfect. The staff were so kind and accomodating. We got there on Valentine's day and were able to book a couples massage in these adorable little huts on stilts over the water. That was a great surprise as we had not booked ahead! The cabin was very simple, the mesh around the bed protected us from any bugs and we slept well listening to the ocean through the rattan of the hut. Despite only being there for 2 days, we took full advantage of all they had to offer! The meals were so good! The staff is excellent at letting you know that you need to order your meals in a timely fashion, as they are made to order. There was a beach bar with yummy rum drinks and we enjoyed swimming and lounging on the deck of the boathouse. We rose early and walked the beach at sunrise both days. They are very good about treating their sand and I honestly don't think I got bit by a single bug. We were able to hire a scooter from one of the staff and do a little tour of the north end of Bintan and Trikora Beach which was super fun. To round out the experience there was a puppy called Leesa that we totally fell in love with! The hospitality and level of service at Mutiara Beach Resort was on par with anywhere I have ever been, the people of Indonesia are so kind and gracious! The price at the end for our accommodation, drinks, food, and massages literally blew our socks off! We often talk about how great it would be to go back! Don't miss this gem of a place!

Developed with eco-green concepts and efforts Trikora Beach Club and Resort offers a rustic hide-away in a garden-scape that leads out to sea. Situated right at Trikora beach, Trikora Beach Club and Resort is the perfect location for water sports enthusiasts. Tradewinds and monsoon winds enable extreme water sports like kite-surfing and wind-surfing to take place all year round. Other water activities include stand-up paddling, kayaking and diving. For nature lovers and explorers Trikora's mangrove trail, home to the flying fox is a great place for trekking. You can also explore Bintan Island on bicycle or take a city tour to experience local culture and flavors. Trikora Beach Club and Resort also offers spa facilities as well as bar & dining for those who want to relax and unwind by Trikora's tranquility.
This resort has been very well designed and developed. The rooms are basic with white stained wooden doors and an adobe finish but they are very comfortable. The eco-friendly credentials are certainly in evidence. The beach is picturesque but largely unswimmable although the pool is clean and beautifully located. The food is very good with 'specials' every night and a trick is to ask for a special dish like steamed fish - in my case perfectly delivered the next night. The only alcohol available is Bintang beer and taking your own beverage like gin worked well for an evening tipple! The resort can be crowded at weekends when the Singaporians visit but during the week it was quiet and very relaxing. The SPA is very good and the staff right across the board were helpful, attentive and courteous. A nice quiet out-of-the-way haven!

Bintan is a quite new for many but is a must visit destination if you are going to Singapore. It is just 2 hours ferry ride from Singapore Airport. I am a travel agent and if you want you can email me and I will make your arrangement and also advice you how to travel. Coming to the resort. Yes it is very rustic and it seems they are still developing this property. Yes it is also one of the cheapest properties in Bintan as beach resorts are very expensive. They provide cottage type rooms with breakfast . The rooms are small but have everything you need. Air condition, fridge, tv , electric kettle, hot water in bathroom. Only problem, the wooden cabins have big holes which makes the air condition impossible to cool the room. During the day staying inside the room is quite difficult. They have a good beach with beach swings, a watch tower and beach ramp. They provide a good breakfast but their dinner options are pretty limited. Bintan has has got quite a good tourist spots which can make you speechless.

New established small scale resorts located in Bintan Island. Spacious and cleanliness definitely no doubt. Each room facing the pool and some have a terrace overlooking the sea. Friendly staff and very accomodating. Not much selection on the Menu but can request on simple dish - no guarantee. Sun lounger by the pool, enjoy the wind from the afternoon walk for that 800 meters long bridge owned by the resort?. Loving the atmos at night, the peace in the quietness accompany by some drinks?. Is indeed a great place, especially those looking for more quality time and escaping from the business of city's life?

Marjoly beach is located in Bintan Island. It's viewed by beautiful beach. We can enjoy sun rising in the morning with fresh air and begin to gather our full spirit. Besides you can join us to learn diving with professional diving trainer from Russia and you will see different kinds of beautiful coral in this island.
This is the place where you can meditate and rejuvenate. Away from the city, stressful ambience.. The place is in remote area, kind of like modern village concept, however, don't be fool by the image and criticism of the most important characteristics resort.. As you can see, the room is nicely decorated, the bathroom and the porch.. It's up the cleanest place

Bintan Sayang Resort nestled on the petite Kampoeng Sebong Pereh at the north-western coast of Bintan island, Indonesia. Just 55 minutes from Singapore by high-speed catamaran and a 30 minutes drive to the resort.Breathtaking sea views, private candle light dinner, and a range of accommodation options that suite your own preference makes Bintan Sayang the perfect choice for the ultimate vacation, from a romantic weekend gateway all the way to a well-deserved family break.Bintan Sayang Resort helps you to avoid the rigid style of modern resorts, with emphasis on preserving the natural environment and a relaxed ambience, yet at the same time providing modern comfort, facilities and excellent local seafood.
It actually offers beautiful scenery, wooden rooms above sea but what matters here is the staffs' services. None of the staff is trained, none is helpful, none is happy. Can feel the room has aged without proper maintainance. The resort itself is quiet with lack of guests, all manual check in and check out system, only cash accepted.
