Guest house in the heart of our vineyard. Discover old stones and delicious wines from the property. You can take dinner at "Table du Domaine" with regional cooking. Breakfast with regionals meals. Welcome at the cellars and tasting wines.
This small hotel/guesthouse is situated in a small village about 10 km south of Auxerre in Bourgogne. It is a good base for exploring the villages and wines of Bourgogne, close to places like Chablis but not as pricy and much more quiet. Rooms are rather small but quite OK. There is also a pool and a terrace. They serve a traditional french breakfast and also dinner which you have to book in advance the same day. Nice and friendly people. They produce their own wines and have a large cellar that can be visited, under the house. Wines are for sale in the cellar and also available in an "honesty bar" in the dining room. Walking distance to a Roman archeological site. You need a car or bike to get around to other restaurants and sights.

We stayed here as a group of 6 the night before our riverboat holiday from Migennes and wished we could have stayed longer. A gorgeously renovated property with very comfortable and individually styled rooms. Janik was a fantastic host and made us feel very comfortable and made us a lovely breakfast with home produce. Would be a great base to visit the vineyards for Burgundy.

Found this based on other TripAdvisor reviews and it was very good. Pool was a blessing after a long drive (it is indoor but has a sliding roof so can be opened up) We had a room at the top which was not great for someone over 6ft as it was in the eves and the double bed against the wall on one side so not easy for a couple to get in and out of. Up 2 flights of stairs so anyone elderly would struggle. Dinner was all cooked by Eric who was very good and quite adventurous. Canapes were had around a table by the pool and the dining room was communal dining so not for everyone. Wine is included and flowed freely so for approx €40 per head was very generous. We had a table of 12 including Eric and Monique the owners and there was little English so personally I found it very difficult when there was clearly banter and jokes and I was unable to understand any of it. Worth a visit if passing...

We stayed with our two young children in the large room at the top of the house. The room was very spacious, clean quiet and had a large bathroom. Jerome was a wonderfully warm host and a lovely guy to chat to. Breakfast consisted of croissants, fresh bread and homemade jam and apple juice. A friendly cat completed the scene. A great experience! Would highly recommend.

We stayed 6 nights at this B&B and had a superb holiday: great breakfast, lovely garden, enjoyable swimming pool, great tips on restaurants or places to visit and a very great reception by the owners Brigitte and Gilles. The location is also great as there are lots of interesting things to see in the neighbourhood.

Having driven from England, we were looking forward to staying overnight at this hotel. Pre-booked a week prior through hotels.com. Sadly arrived at 16h15 (1h15 after check-in opened) only to find NOBODY there... and I mean nobody! So this is a version of a B&B run by the people living there but whom do not understand that running a business means making yourself available for paying customers. The result in our case was to wait 40 minutes, have Hotels.com call repeatedly only to have no joy... answerphone says only a little English spoken... I am bilingual French and it made no difference... we left having to find another hotel. The place is very remote and circa 8 from Auxerre. Could not say more about the place other than the fact the front gate if locked forget trying to access humanity. Not impressed!

The Villa is a real old building, located in the old city of Auxerre. Behind a big green wood gate - you have a place to park your car. You get inside and feel like you live in old times - but with very modern facilities. The place is decorated beautifully. The hostess - and owner of the place - Bathild - is a young woman which is kind' friendly' helpful and will help you with everything

Just a one night stay en route Caen from the Côte d’Azur. It suited us perfectly. It’s a glorious, charming and characterful property set in 7 hectares of farming countryside. Great for a long walk. Madame greeted us, showed us to our comfortable bedroom (“Vert”) and provided a very full and interesting breakfast. We’d have liked to stay longer. Dinner was a 15-minute drive to Chablis. Les Trois Bourgeons. Very good.

La Barbotière used to be a farm, facing the fields and surrounded by a small creek, close to the town of Auxerre in Burgundy. It is a perfect place to settle in order to visit the town, the Yonne river valley, the basilica of Vézelay, and the wineyards of Northern Burgundy, notably Chablis. Well-known sites of the Puisaye sub-region, such as the Castles of Guédelon and Saint-Fargeau or the Toucy market are also within reach. Our guests will enjoy two comfortable rooms, Coulanges and Chablis, as well as an inner space comprised of the breakfast room, a veranda and a cozy library. They may also enjoy the quietness and the freshness of the garden in the summer.
Great : - a really great B&B in the north of Bourgogne with so much to see : the vineyards, the small villages and churches, nice markets, and the town of Auxerre at less than 10mn by car - the hosts are great, they clearly enjoy welcoming guests and giving great advice - 2 very comfortable and beautiful rooms - great breakfast (with excellent tea) - garden with the plus of a little stream and ducks - large and comfortable living area, possible to eat own food there, pool table, library - a restaurant at 5mn walk in the village (need to book a table), and more choice in Auxerre Could be improved : - not much, only being able to fix the shower head higher on the wall would be great

On the road of Compostelle, between Pontigny and Vezelay, la Maison des Randonneurs is located in the towncenter, near from shops, in a big and quiet park.
I organised a school trip in Auxerre, it was perfect to have my group all in the same place. The location is amazing, the house lovely. Breakfast was delicious and staff extremely nice and helpful. The common room makes it a great place to just relax and talk to the other people staying there.
