We stayed at that hotel in September. Four of us. For leisure. That was me who'd booked three standard rooms there by phone so I hadn't paid any advance. We drove there from Novosibirsk and were pleasantly surprised to get a call from their reception enquiring whether we were coming and how our trip went on. Cool! The place is really nice. It is situated on a big island right in the middle of the Katun' river - a rampant ice-cold green stream. You may cross it by a narrow bridge, pull your luggage out but then return and leave your car at a guarded parking place across the river. Rooms were spacious and comfortable, nicely designed, with cozy beds and large windows equipped with anti-mosquito nets. Views therefrom were gorgeous - the river, mountains, taiga. Sound insulation was OK too - except for Katun's round-the-clock roaring there were no extra sounds. Their territory was well-kept albeit rather eclectically decorated (statues of nymphs, Greek Gods, eagles, even big mushrooms) but it really was a great place to take a stroll. They also have an open-air pool. Boulders beaches were a stone's throw away - though one should really have guts to dip into that river's waters! The staff was hospitable and ready-to-help (some even spoke a bit of English!). Girls at the reception did their best to meet our requests. For example, a wonderful private tour to Belokurikha was structured in literally several minutes! To make a long story short, Korona Altaya is really a place to stay at but absolutely not to eat, be it breakfast or dinner. That inferior service should be avoided, especially as far as dinner is concerned - at any cost.

Stayed here on a business trip. Beautiful surroundings by the lake. Well laid out garden. Has cottages too. Good place to stay on a Holiday. Was given a room on 3rd Floor. Was a nightmare to carry luggage up & down since there is no elevator. The room does not have electric kettle for preparing tea or coffee.

Although a fairly new sanatorium, it still has the Soviet-type establishment heritage. The rooms are clean and tidy, but are unmistakably Russian in a bad sense of the word. The place offers different spa and physiotherapy procedures, with quite a hectic booking process which takes some time and patience. Not a cheap place to stay and I doubt it’s worth the money. The breakfasts are plentiful with some bizarre dishes. A typical breakfast would consist of either sliced cheese or bologna sausage, followed by porridge or fried eggs, then some main dish like baked fish with rice or cutlet with mashed potatoes, and some desert like pancakes or pie - basically 3 breakfasts in one (priced 1200 RUB per room no matter what the actual occupancy is). The staff is mostly nice. Book sauna with a pool and complimentary local herbal tea and honey - it was the highlight of our stay.

I've been to this hotel for a couple of nights and everything was fine. You get things for the price you pay, which is pretty cheap. The room was too warm and I had to stop the heating, it was impossible to sleep. The fridge in the room is very old and noisy, not really comfortable for a sleeping night. The staff is friendly and nice.

The art-eco-hotel Altai is the tourist complex meeting modern requirements, founded in the summer of 2012.Eco is an accommodation for the person who apprecieates health and well-being of the family. The hotel is located in Biysk -on a fork of three directions:-Gorniy Altai,-Belokurikha,-Teletskoye lake, there you can easily go both on walk around the city or on excursion of the "siberian switzerland"
The hotel is overall very clean, the magnificent smell of tree is all around, fridge in the room, bathrobes and slippers, toiletries. Weak moments: Woodlice in jacuzzi room, no pot in the room - you need to take from the reception and bring back, no tea cups, lots of light in the night time if your room faces the entrance and the road.
