Hi Cedric & Stephane, An extremely warm thanks for welcoming us within your absolutely stunning «chalet » as we call it in France, that deserves a 5 stars rating. We were on your home as guests from 7/23 to 7/24 but were incredibly stunned about the quality and the authenticity of the place. You also have a great offering of nearby attractions, from summer téléski, to natural park, where we could see bores, bisons, deers, bisons….well, cool owners bring good vibes. Totally found of. Good luck, Godspeed, and see you soon.

Charming small family hotel with 9 rooms in Rimplas in the heart of the Mercantour National Park. It is located at an ideal altitude of 1000m which allows it to benefit from a Mediterranean microclimate. It has a large, cozy restaurant with homemade dishes; a lounge area with a library, fireplace, board games, children's area, music area with various instruments; a bar-snack-ice creams open all day long with a panoramic terrace over the Tinée valley. It is located on the Route des Grandes Alpes and on the GR5, just 1 hour from Nice, very close to ski resorts, 15 minutes from La Colmiane and 40 minutes from Isola 2000 or Auron. In summer, a multitude of hiking possibilities, beautiful car or motorbike rides, and bicycles for the most sprotive ones, and all the activities offered by La Colmiane (Via Ferrata, zip line, tree climbing, summer tobogganing ...) Warm and professional welcome, all in a good mood and sharing!
We stayed here whilst supporting a cycle trip of the Route des Grandes Alpes. The reception was warm and friendly and the hostel is a lovely little place to stop off - the rooms are basic but very clean and quiet. The half board option is great value and the food was plentiful and tasty. Breakfast was sufficient and we were all rested before the days activities.

Hotel des Alpes in Guillaumes is in the centre of this small, attractive little village and there are two free car parks within 100 metres. Our second floor room has clearly been renovated and decorated recently and was very smart, with good quality bed linens, toiletries etc. It also has a large television, a kettle, coffee pod machine and, most importantly, air-conditioning. The fixtures and fittings in the en-suite shower room are also very smart. Breakfast was a simple help yourself affair but was very good and included juice, fresh fruits, yoghurt, bread, pastries, cheese and ham. And the ritual of filling your tray then taking it out to the front patio to have breakfast while Guillaumes goes about its morning business was a rather nice way to start the day. As previous reviewers have mentioned, the host here doesn’t speak any English, but with a bit of basic French you can get by.

Stayed for a wedding in June2016. Had booked room two years previously. When we arrived at 4pm the front door was locked. My husband had to get in through the pool area at the back. Man gave him the key and continued talking on the phone. Room one was small with no light in toilet which was impossible for a woman to use. Light in room went out after 10 mins. Couldn't open window due to risk of glass falling out. Karaoke in bar area went on until 3pm in morning so sleep was out of the question. Breakfast was basic...coffee and a cold croissant with jam, no butter. Should have stayed 3 nights but left after wedding on day 2. Went back to Nice and lovely hotel on seafront. I asked for lights to be fixed but rude man in charge was not interested. Dreadful experience which will never be repeated.

We had an excellent stay at Le Moulin Camoula, if not short. What Cecilia and Michel have done to renovate the old maison is inspirational and truly impressive. We stayed in the apartment (Le Foussa), which provided us with everything we needed to put together a simple dinner - between some impressive lunches at restaurants in the area. Cecilia and Michel were very friendly, full of advice, and communicative (especially by phone, when we needed to check-in when they weren't there or had questions). The bed was comfortable, the bathtub was luxurious, the breakfast hit the spot, and the parking was convenient. We'll be back during the summer so that we can take advantage of the outdoor seating and petanque terrain.

A true Bed and Breakfast run by Sandrine the delightful owner. The four bedrooms have sensational views over the valleys eventually to the sea beyond. The excellent breakfasts which can be taken on the terrace, weather permitting, are freshly prepared each morning by Sandrine or her assistant Sophie. Highly recommended for a quiet stay in the pretty village of Tourettes sur Loup away from the frenzy of the coast

This is a lovely hotel. The rooms are great with nice views. There is a heated pool and a nice sitting our area. Plenty of car parking. The lady on reception was delightful and so helpful. The evening meal was excellent as was the breakfast. We could only stay one night but would have loved to stay longer. Would certainly stay there again. The staff don't speak a lot of English and I don't speak much French but we managed and had a laugh at our efforts.

They served really tasty breakfast every morning on the terrace. We also had dinner one night which was lovely. Le Grand Chalet Guest House and evening meal in Valdeblore. Perched above the village of Saint-Dalmasis open to welcome guests all year round. The Chalet is located just an hour from the Côte d’Azur, in the hills around La Colmiane, on the borders of the Mercantour National Park.Guests have the choice of a double bed (160cm x 200cm), twin beds or bunk beds. Each room has bedside tables and wardrobe, plus en suite facilities, with toilet, wash basin and either a bath or a shower.
Run by Christine and Luc, but not in winter, this is a spotless, friendly home from home. Regretfully we weren't able to confirm dinner due to our travel arrangements but would advise others to do so as the home cooked fare is delightful, as we discovered at breakfast. Our room was a good size and comfortable and the view stunning. Thank you.
