Thailand’s largest island is an international magnet for beach lovers and serious divers, who enthusiastically submerge themselves in the Andaman Sea. Blue lagoons and salmon sunsets make for a dream-like atmosphere, and indeed, a vacation here can feel a bit surreal. Watersports are the most popular activities, though once you’ve had enough sun there’s still plenty to explore at the island’s aquariums, gardens, and Buddhist temples.

This was our first visit to Phuket and The Nai Harn resort was highly recommended by our travel agent, Flight centre. We had a lovely & fantastic experience, the staff was very courteous and always willing to help and amazingly knew our names every time they met us. The facilities are excellent and location of resort is out of the world, right on the beach which is neat with nice waves and clear water. The buffet breakfast had plenty of choices and fabulous food quality. They even extended our stay for couple of hours to accomodate our flight. I will highly recommend this to anyone visiting Phuket. I really five star memorable experience.

This is a great beach if you like a nice walk on clean sand with the option of dipping in and out of the beautiful clear sea every so often. There are plenty of restaurants dotted about for refreshments if needed.

Fantastic warm, clean water, one small cafe on beach, take tuk tuk instead long boat ( tuk tuk from Karon Beach to Freedom costs 400 baht, and long boat from Patong charge 1000 baht, although trip is very short. If you arrive by car/tuk tuk/motorbike, you have to walk down/up the stairs - some good, some broken, but manageable - average fitness required, down takes 20 minutes to walk, up - 25-30 mins to walk. Clean beach. Jewel in the midst of civilization. Definitely recommended!!!

Quite empty beautiful beach. Great place to see planes landing right over your head. Many people come there just for that. Quite an attraction.

Beautiful beach and when I go back to Phuket I hope its not full of tourists. The water is clear and with a mask and snorkel you can watch the fish. Its not a place to party but its a nice quiet spot to get away from the hordes of people at Patong. I would have liked to say something bad about the place so no one goes there but I can't.

What a fantastic place to spend a full day or half day, once picked up from your hotel it’s a 25 minute shuttle bus then a 15 minute boat ride across. Once there you can relax on the beach and soak in the sun or enjoy one of the many water sports on offer. We as a family of 4 enjoyed the thrill of parasailing, the crew was professional, pleasant and amusing. The only down side to it was that you can’t take your own pictures as a photographer is on board taking them which you can buy later. I must admit that the price for around 400 photos taken was quite responsible. On the half day excursion a light lunch is provided which consisted of fried rice, mini chicken drumsticks and a Thai chicken soup. Definitely go, it truly is a beautiful place to visit.

This beach is very secluded, not too bad to get to if you have a car or motorbike. We took the family there on Christmas Day, had a blast, not a tourist trap at all. The beach was very quiet and we managed to find some shade. There were no chairs available to hire on the beach but was okay as we had beach towels. Just be careful if you’re taking little ones into the sea, as the sea bed drops off quite rapidly which causes some medium-size waves that knocked our kids over a few times but they did enjoy it. We just had to be with them in the sea very close at all times. There is hardly any noise from the road that runs next to this beach, and there are a few restaurants scattered around for plenty of choices of eating. Plus it was easy to park for free.
