Located on the Chesapeake Bay on Kent Island, Maryland, the grounds include a public swimming beach, an outdoor amphitheater, family picnic area and trails through the surrounding woods, with views of the Bay Bridge. The beach is open sun rise to sun set daily,
This is a fine public swimming beach - with a section reserved for dogs and their owners! There is also an outdoor amphitheater, family picnic area and trails through the surrounding woods. Terrific view of the Bay Bridge. There is a fresh water fountain and wash area just off the beach and public restrooms are nearby as well. The historic clubhouse building is a popular wedding and event venue.

Stopped here on a whim as we were passing through the area. This is a very nice, well maintained park with plenty of beach. There is a pavilion, picnic benches, grills, plenty of port o pots, playground and is dog friendly.Took a lovely stroll along the beach with our dog which we had to ourselves except for a couple of people we saw in the distance.

The map showed walking trails from the park. We started on the golf course trail (starts right across sailing center). Unless you play golf and know when/how to dodge active players - don’t go any further. The 0.25 mile trail to golf course is your endpoint. Beyond that, nice views and serenity to be had at this park - especially weekdays.

A small beach that is never crowded, Rock Hall’s swimming beach and gazebo, known locally as Ferry Park, is located on Beach Road - just turn left near the foot of Rock Hall Avenue. There is a boardwalk with benches, picnic tables, barbecue stands, and pavilions, all with outstanding views to the Chesapeake Bay and the Bay Bridge to the southwest. The water is fairly shallow out some distance and there is a protected very shallow area that is perfect for children.
