Whether you’re exploring Vermont’s covered bridges, visiting Quechee Gorge or skiing at Killington, you’ll find Vermont to be picture-perfect. If you’re the outdoorsy type, you’ll love Vermont. In winter, of course, there’s plenty of skiing and snowboarding. In the warmer months, however, Vermont offers plenty of opportunities for hiking, biking, fishing and boating. If you enjoy boating, swimming and fishing, a vacation rental on Lake Champlain might be perfect for you.

The Crooked Ram is a restaurant, craft beer & natural wine bar and retail bottle shop. We serve lunch and dinner, along with cheese and charcuterie boards. Our menus change regularly with a focus on local, sustainable and seasonal ingredients. Our draft and wine selections rotate often, and feature a curated selection from our favorite independent brewers and wine makers from Vermont and beyond.
They have changed a lot since our first visit when they had just opened. Now they added food to the beer and wine tasting's. I sampled a couple of beers they had and purchased A great Pilsner from Schilling brewery in New Hampshire. They are always changing the taps so it always fun to stop in if you have time to see what they have to offer. We didn't eat but people seemed to be enjoying what they were eating.

Scott the owner and Andrew the head brewer are hands on guys that make the best beer around. They both make themselves readily available and love to talk about their craft. My favorite beer is East Street Bitters especially when it is on Nitro. Andrew is always coming up with some new beers to try and last time I was in he was experimenting with some locally grown hops that had amazing fragrance. Definitely worth stopping in and trying some of their local brews!!!

This is a great place to get a beer and play some pool or just sit outside and people watch. A long wait at the Thai place a few doors down so we enjoyed a beer at the Monkey House. A great selection, fair price and friendly bar tender.

Great restaurant! We couldn’t get a reservation so we went a little early hoping to get lucky. The manager was great and recommended we have a drink while waiting for a seat at the bar (only turned out to be about 30 minutes). The food was phenomenal - we had the wings and calamari to start and the pecan crusted salmon and venison for dinner and topped it off with the mocha cheesecake for dessert. All of it was soooo good!! The bread and whipped butter was also great! Have to give the bartender (I think her name was Jen) a tremendous amount of credit too. She was so attentive and fast and just fantastic overall. Definitely go to Harrison’s if you’re in Stowe!!
