The Dickin Arms in Wem is a historic public house with local interest. We have a variety of award winning real ales for you to try, plus show all the major sport on Sky and BT across 4 TV's and host regular entertainment featuring local musicians. There is a relaxing beer garden to the rear and a friendly atmosphere inside. Throughout each month we hold activities such as quizzes and beer trails.

Went to the Woodman for the first time after lockdown and it was great. Sat in the beer garden, which is a credit to Lin the landlady, full of beautiful flowers, and large umbrellas over tables. The Ladies were immaculate( and I guess the gents also!). Its a "real" pub.No music, slot machines etc so you can have a conversation with pals.. Step the barmaid is fantastic and Lin is also very welcoming. If you're in Shrewsbury, it's worth the walk up Coton Hill to visit.

Great evening, food was fab, hot, served altogether very prompt. Drinks brought to your table, lovely friendly staff. Felt very comfortable and spacious, best Xmas party venue we’ve had. Even the meet and greet was a lovely touch making us feel special. Will defo book next yr.

Thank you to Russell and his team for a great welcome and a really relaxing time in a traditional pub, with a very nice outside area, well kept ales and a good range, including my favourite Wye Valley offerings. Great regard and respect also for the friendly locals and most especially those who assisted in my medical episode. OK so I got the wrong Nag's Head in the first place, and got shipped off in a taxi to another Nag's Head miles out of town, another lovely place but this was the original target and this is the biz, ha ha, but apparently I'm not the only one to have done this! Laughs galore. Hope to return one day to the wonderful town of Shrewsbury and this great traditional boozer - and next time I shall not be accompanied by the (whether you like it or not) Delilah toting Tom Jones impressionist

Drinking with friends waiting for our table At restaurant next door and having amazing cocktails in fab bar. Dark enough to have atmosphere, might enough to see, and bar man made me cocktail off menu. Lovely!

Popped in for an hour and a half, booked online with a £5 deposit which was taken off our tab. It’s table service only now, all staff were friendly and the cocktails were lush!

Visited the Pour House (upstairs) today to have lunch at the newly opened Thai D. Service was superb, menu amazing and food simply delicious! Having been to Thailand lots before, it is great to know there is an authentic tasting Thai restaurant for eat in or take away! Bravo!

In one of Shrewsbury's most iconic town centre buildings, we bring you Ten & Six, a Champagne bar inspired by Alice's Adventures in Wonderland.
We booked a baby shower afternoon tea in the private room upstairs for 14 of us. From my initial communication with George to when we left the service provided by Ten & Six was amazing ! Nothing was too much trouble for the staff especially our amazing server Isla who catered to our every need with such lovely charm and professionalism. I would thoroughly recommend the afternoon tea (delicious) and booking this venue for a party - thank you to all xx
