A must visit pub if you're in Glasgow. You always receive a warm welcome from the friendly and efficient bar staff. The pub attracts a clientele of all ages and everyone contributes to the excellent atmosphere. The decor is a throwback to the 1960s with formica topped bar and tables. It also includes a genuine pie warmer from that era. Nothing pretentious about this place. Just a wonderful example of what a pub should be.

Rutherfords is the perfect antidote to modern life. The very FIRST Micropub in Scotland. Pop in for a perfect pint of Real Ale, a hand-raised pork pie, a very special, fresh cocktail or Scottish craft gin on-tap, through a microscope. Yes... really. We also now offer our own totally natural cocktails, including Pornstar Martinis and our own take on the Cosmo... the Kelsopolitan! Great chat and NO interruptions from music, gaming machines or Television. It's the small things in life that matter.
Visited this cool little micro pub twice on two cold wintery days and had the warmest of welcomes. Superb beers and gins. Cozy and quirky, friendly atmosphere and even a folk group who put a huge smile on our faces with their rendition of BeeGees ‘Stayin’ Alive’ :-)

Edinburgh's best rated Comedy Club. #1 in Edinburgh for Bars & Clubs and Concerts & Shows on TripAdvisor. 5 Edinburgh Comedy Awards nominees since 2017. 3 time Scottish Comedy Award winner. Open 7 nights a week. See monkeybarrelcomedy.com for more details.
Went to an open mic night on a Monday night with low expectations really & we didn’t stop laughing! Service at the bar was great, all the acts were funny and the host (think her name was Amy Matthews) smashed it, although we both said we would’ve liked to have seen more of her. All in all was a great night and I would highly recommend!

The Malt Room is a cosy and friendly bar where you can sample a wide range of the finest whiskies, as well as whisky and non whisky cocktails, premium sprits, wines and an choice selection of wines and beers. Our knowledgeable staff will be happy to guide you through our whisky menu, which contains blends and single malts from all the Scotch regions, as well as American bourbon and rye, Irish whiskey and Japanese whisky.
The space is very intimate but that only adds to the allure of the experience. Matt, the owner, was able to set up a last minute tasting flight for our family who were just in town for the day. He was absolutely exceptional. He was beyond knowledgeable and accommodating, and he went so far as to change some of the flights to fit the flavor preference of each of us. Such a delightful experience that everyone should have while in Inverness!

The home of witchcraft & wizardry. Take on the Dark Lord in our spellbinding escape rooms, brew up a potions cocktail in our Magic Potions Tavern. Cloaks and wands provided!
Great fun! Definitely one of the best (if not the best) escape rooms in town. Coming from someone who has experienced a decent amount of rooms before and a Harry Potter fan this one combines the thrill of doing an escape room with the feeling that you are part of a magical world, without sacrificing one for the other! Will be heading back to do the second room quite soon. Special shout out to Perim, our amazing and super enthusiastic grave keeper and GM!!

We welcome you to The Raging Bull, an Edinburgh Cocktail Bar famous for its Espresso Martinis. Our cosy bar is inspired by the eccentric yet good natured fellow, The Raging bull and his friends. As you walk through the door directly to your left hangs a mural of The Bull himself drinking with his lady back in the 1920’s. He has become accustomed to drinking his cocktails in comfortable and stylish surroundings. So, expect rustic walls, marble tables, natural foliage and walls adorned with pictures of the handsome Bull when you visit us. Rumour has it the first Espresso Martini was invented in 1983, but we will let you into a little secret. The Raging Bull has been drinking these delightful caffeinated concoctions since the 1920’s to keep him up at night! We take our alcohol seriously, but we want to have fun doing it. So please leave any inhibitions at the door and take a walk on the wild side!
We had a virtual vodka cocktail class with Andy at The Raging Bull - we would highly recommend! Amazing drinks and great host, thank you :) it was also so easy to book and they were really flexible for us so via class bento

A really good visit of a small distillery. As they explain when you're there, gin distilleries are different to what you might imagine a distillery looks like, in that they're much smaller compared to whiskey ones. In the case of this one you can see the whole process through one window and you're not necessarily waking round huge vats. So if you're expecting that you might be a bit surprised. This is more of a tasting session rather than a tour. We had 4 different types of their gin with the botanicals for tasting and when that's finished you can choose your own full G&T pairing. The gins were great with a wide variety, so there's definitely something you will like in there. This was a good fun hour or so and would recommend if you're staying in Kirkwall/Shetland. Plus you get a discount in their shop if you've been on this!

Welcome to the Jolly Judge public bar in the heart of Edinburgh's Old Town. Low beamed ceilings, warm fire and a tranquil atmosphere, this is Scottish hospitality at its best. Sample the wide range of malt whiskies, real ales and tempting bar lunches.
Stumbled on this wee gem off the High Street in the Royal Mile.Very cosy with a crackling log fire,I last stopped in here over 30 years ago,and it had the same good friendly vibe I remembered back then.I had a lovely strawberry cider sitting on one of the old bench seats beside the fire and found it comforting that some things don't change and just stick at what they do well.I won't be waiting another 30 years till I return.
