San Pedro is "La Isla Bonita" that Madonna made famous. Now it's a tourist mecca, but still boasts great beaches and plenty of dive shops so you can enjoy the sun, sand, and sea. Plan a side trip to Caye Caulker while you're here; it is less developed and more laid back, and has its own splendid swimming areas.

A fun roadside Bar. Karaoke Party Every Wednesday. Drink specials. Best Burgers and $1 Tacos. Poker Run. Always a fun time at the RoadKill Bar!
Great food! Great value! I’ve eaten a most of the local places and this has the best burger for the buck! Big Gringo✔️

Haven't been able to visit in awhile since they've been closed for the pandemic but am excited for Wayo's 3.0 to be open in their new location! The atmosphere is great, always a mixture of locals, expats, and tourists. Watch as the staff wow you with their skills at hooking the ring, mixing delicious drinks like rum punches and my go-to "landshark with lime", and feel at home as soon as you arrive at Wayo's. It is a must-do in my book when visiting the island.

We had an awesome time hanging out at Coco's. From the cribbage tournament to the Pictionary games to the food from Corey's smoker, we loved the time we spent at Coco's. Fun and friendly staff, interesting locals to talk to, and BEAUTIFUL views! We are excited to come back on our next trip to Ambergris Caye!

relaxed beach bar looking right onto the reef. plenty of seating on the sand, in the shade, at the bar. Full service bar with panini's and speciality chips all the time... Coconut lobster, coconut fish and chicken fingers in season.. Sunday Funday with live music. Monday reggae for some real island music and local dancing. Tuesday the world famous hermit crabs are a must. And Friday triviokae is a blast.
Tuesday night crab races are so much fun. Rob, the owner, is a natural at hosting them...he's hilarious. We didn't stay to the end (as they can go fairly late) but I'm sure his commentaries become less and less family friendly. There are a lot of prizes and the races raise money for a great cause (putting kids through school). The bar also has wonderful drinks and delicious food. We had their fries, chicken wings and ceviche. The waitresses are very attentive. Line ups can be long so be there by 6pm to pick out your crabs. You'll have a great time here.

One of my favorite things to see on the island is the Thursday night Chicken Drop at Wahoo's. If you want a good seat get there about 30 minutes early to claim your spot, maybe even earlier! it's such a great time and everyone on the island comes out for the chicken drop.

We organized our cart rental thru Yami on an Ambergris Caye Facebook group. The cart was a good price for the week and they met us at the water taxi to bring us over to the bar to finish the paper work. To hold our cart we paid a deposit which went towards our final payment. Before we took off then rental person gave us a quick ‘how to’ guide for our cart. Reminded us to always use the lock bar when parked and refill the gas before drop off. We dropped it off at the airport prior to departure where someone was going to pick it up.
