The Okanagan Valley, in the interior of British Columbia, is a popular Canadian vacation destination known for skiing in the winter and watersports in the summer. The area's quaint towns and lush vineyards are connected by a network of clear blue lakes and rivers and surrounded by rolling, sun-dappled hills. Head to Kelowna for one of several wine festivals or to Penticton for the sugary summer Peach Festival. To the south is Osoyoos, home to an arid desert filled with rare plants and animals.

After a long day of geocaching in the Osoyoos area, my sister, our friend and I decided to go for a late lunch at the Sage Pub. We were seated immediately and provided menus from our waitress. She took our beverage order and these were delivered within a short period of time. Our meal orders were taken and when delivered to the table, we were warned that both the food and its container were very hot. My poutine topped with pulled pork was delicious and very enjoyable. My sister enjoyed her soup and sandwich special. The restaurant itself was clean and well maintained as was the bathroom. Prices are in the low to mid range and reasonable. If you are in the area, I would definitely recommend you give this pleasant place a try.

Wow! A little piece of paradise. Moderately challenging course! Par 5 on the front 9 plays like a par 7! All in all a great course. Well manicured greens and fairways. Watch for rattlesnakes who seem to share the love of the lush green fairways. The staff were wonderful. The carts are all spanky new. No GPS but all of the other swank (ball wash, cooler, divot repair, tees). Be sure to pic up the map with tips for the course if it is your first time. Such amazing scenery. Thank you for a beautiful day on the course!

I haven't even contemplated going to the BI in 10 years but after several people claiming it had new ownership (within the year so previous posts about ownership are now irrelevant) and had been renovated and had improved I caved. Its 100% better! The lunchtime server Chauntel is fantastic, the menu great and there are tons of options, food is great. It's definitely on top of our favourite watering hole locations. The only things I can think of that would improve it is continuing the decor from the old dance floor through restaurant and getting some better beer ontap. Adding a dark beer would be great! ---Crannog Ale's Back hand of God is my recommendation!
