We are a warm and cosy micropub, true to the values of the micropub ethos. We offer a warm welcome (as our many reviews testify) and up to 5 ever-changing real ales from around the country, hand-pulled to perfection. We are in the Camra Good Beer Guide for the Sixth year running. In addition to real ale we also dispense still cider, a range of wines (3 red, 3 white, 1 rose and 1 prosecco) together with a range of continental bottled beers.
Adam and Steve run a fabulous little micro pub with a wonderful atmosphere. There are usually 5 hand pulled ales available, all well kept reasonably priced. A selection of wines and ciders complement the line up. Regulars and casual visitors chat together in the small and intimate surroundings. If you want to have a bit of fun, tell Adam the washroom mirror is ok, but the tiles are sloping. We found the place by chance on our first afternoon in town and managed to pop in for a “quick one” each day of our long weekend. Looking forward to returning next time we stay.

Harrogate's first Micropub. Independently run by husband and wife, Rich and Danni. Real Ale, Cider and more.
I googled a place that had beer and a garden in Harrogate and up popped this little gem. 5 ales on pump and a few good lagers as well as some lovely gins - it was a great place for us. Good track and trace using a QR code, which meant no pen to touch which is great too. Small front and back gardens, we were in the back which was lovely and very well spaced. The beer (according to my other half) was excellent and their gin range was not too wide ranging (thank goodness!) but had something that would suit most gin drinkers. Lovely, chilled atmosphere and it seemed like the chaps serving us really enjoyed what they were doing. We liked it a lot.

Located in York’s bustling city centre, just off Walmgate, Brew York is a showpiece ten barrel craft brewery alongside its tap room and beer hall, celebrating the best local ales and redefining the city’s position in the UK brewing scene. Featuring 40 taps the Beer Hall can boast the largest and widest selection of beers, lagers and ciders in York and its surrounding area. With its own purpose built kitchen we can deliver some of the best food in the area alongside your beer. In addition to the awesome Beer Hall we have a smaller Tap Room located just next door within the brewery building itself. You can sit within touching distance of the fermenting tanks, even the brewers themselves! Come down and enjoy our beer whilst overlooking our latest brews fermenting away. We operate a no stag/hen do policy on our brewery tours without question.

A quirky little pub serving real ales and a wide selection of gins and tonics. Friendly and helpful staff. Whenever we're in Whitby we love to call for a drink and girls always remember us. Only a few tables downstairs but upstairs you'll find a few more seats. Small, cosy and welcoming. We Love it.

Small and welcoming Independent bar run by Husband and Wife team, Jack and Han. Rotating beers, 3 cask and 8 keg lines ranging from DDH ipas to imperial porters to pilsner and cider we have something for all. Wines and cocktails also served. Dog friendly. Focussed mainly on local snacks, breweries and spirits. Environmentally friendly, limiting waste and plastic use.
Great place to drink and hang with friends. Delicious selection of keg & cask. Jack and Hannah are wonderful hosts.

Established in 1798, The Blue Bell is York’s smallest and most beautiful pub. Last decorated in 1903 and retaining all of it’s Edwardian charm, a drink in The Blue Bell is a step back in time. Our award-winning Master Cellarman takes great pride in the selection and quality of the seven cask ales always on offer. From Blondes to Bitters and IPAs to Milds, there’s always a great pint waiting for you at The Blue Bell. House Rules (no swearing, groups or children allowed) have been in place for 118 years and due to our size we often have to turn folk away. Please don’t be offended! We’re a friendly bunch and genuinely do wish we could serve everyone. Our quieter times are during the week, especially in the early afternoons. A warm welcome awaits you at The Blue Bell - but only if you follow the rules and do your part to create a warm, relaxed and (some would say old-fashioned) atmosphere of respect and friendship. It's a proper pub, for proper pub people.

We came here for some lunch as the Yorkshire tapas menu was right up our street. We were greeted by friendly staff and regulars. There was a great range of beers and Gins but the food was something else. All of it was super tasty well cooked and presented. We were also treated to some free cheese croquets as one of our dishes was slightly delayed (we didn’t mind With it being tapas!) we were super greatfull and the croquets turned out to be my favourite dish they tasted Devine. Would highly recommend to all. Already wondering if we have time to pop back in tomorrow before we head home. Excellent views too if your sat in the window.

We stayed in Whitby on August Bank Holiday weekend I had booked the Station Inn in advance months earlier as I knew it would be busy, It is in a perfect location next to the harbour. On arrival we were taken to our room which we were more than pleased with, firstly it had a lovely smell which was great and it had modern decor, the bed and pillows were really comfy and the bathroom had a large walk in shower and and was bright and clean, we had a DAB radio which was a nice extra that we used and a Dyson fan which was good to use too, and a tv on the wall, we were really pleased to see that we had a kettle with Yorkshire tea and a coffee pod machine with selection of pods to use, the staff in the bar were friendly and helpful, overall we loved the room and had a great stay at the Station Inn we would recommend and we will stay there again.
