Whether you are looking for sun-drenched beaches or outdoor activities in beautiful countryside, New Jersey has plenty to offer. Those who love the great outdoors should head for the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area, which runs along the Delaware River for forty miles. Here you can go rock climbing, canoeing, kayaking or fishing, or simply admire the stunning waterfalls. There is a huge range of hiking trails to choose from as well as historic sites to visit. In winter, you can enjoy cross-country skiing near Blue Mountain Lakes, and birdwatchers might be lucky enough to catch sight of bald eagles. If you are looking for a change, visit one of New Jersey's eleven lighthouses that are open to public, such as the one in Cape May. For art and history enthusiasts, New Jersey State Museum in Trenton has historic artifacts and American fine art from the nineteenth century to the present day as well as a Planetarium.

MADE Atlantic City Chocolate Bar is a bean-to-bar chocolate shop. Husband and wife, Mark and Deb Pellegrino, have joined forces in the kitchen to create single origin chocolate and a unique environment for their guests to enjoy it. In addition to great chocolate, guests can indulge in wine by the glass or bottle, local brews or a dessert and cocktail menu: all of which incorporate MADE chocolate.
Highly recommended. The "bar" was empty on the late Sunday afternoon we visited, and we were treated very well by the servers and owner. My wife had a chocolate martini and Philly style pretzel with a chocolate dipping cup, I opted for the wine and chocolate pairing flight. Every bite better than the one before. A lot of fun and so, so rich!

The restaurant area is quieter and “kid friendly”. The bar area is always busy. Best known for their thin crust pizza. The mussels are always great. A local establishment since my childhood. Always good.

Our brewery is a 1.5 BBL (46.5 gallons) artisanal, small-batch, neighborhood business brewing quality beer for good people who appreciate good beer. We offer samples, pints, and growler fills. Our unique tasting room is situated at the location of the former Bridgetown Pub, just a short drive from NJ Turnpike Exit 5 or the Mt. Holly exit off 295. We combine fresh ingredients with beer education and a brewery tour to refresh, enlighten and inform. Our small size allows us to be nimble and offer tap selections that change frequently.
This is a great friendly little place with some exception beer. They don’t have food, but there is several eateries close by so you can bring in your own food and enjoy it with their great beer. They make really good seasonal beer like pumpkin beer for Halloween and a couple brews I really like for Christmas time. Their pumpkin beer is the best I have had. Thursday night is trivia night and lots of fun. If your looking for a fun and friendly little place to hang out, maybe get a bite to eat and drink some really good beer, this is the place.

There isn’t a more sophisticated way to wrap up your day in Cape May than an evening at the Brown Room, a stylish lounge occupying the same spot as Congress Hall’s first legal post-Prohibition cocktail bar. Spend a little time deep in one of the comfortable leather chairs enjoying the fire and gentle buzz of friendly conversation around you. Rendezvous with friends after a day on the beach, or meet new friends since there’s something about the Brown Room that seems to encourage people to reach out and connect with each other.
I knew my traveling companion would love the cocktail choices at The Brown Room, so I booked a 5:00 reservation for us to be seated at the bar. It certainly did not disappoint! Our bartender, Tyler, was personable, professional and kept our glasses filled with delectable drinks. The small plate offerings were as diverse and delicious as the cocktail choices. As I'd hoped, my friend thoroughly enjoyed her first visit to this coveted Cape May venue.
