Basking in its 300 days of sunshine, Lake Tahoe is a haven for outdoor fun in every season. Swimming, kayaking and windsurfing are popular in the summer months, while epic snowfall makes for spectacular skiing in winter. For those who prefer indoor fun, there's plenty of that in Tahoe, too. With 24-hour casinos and a flashy nightlife scene, the area has a tangible Vegas vibe. A sprinkle of bling, if you will. Not surprising, since Lake Tahoe straddles the border between California and Nevada.

South Lake Tahoe's Premier taproom! We specialize in hand curated craft beer that you will not find anywhere else in Tahoe. We have 30 taps of craft beer that rotate regularly and you will not experience the same tap list twice! Our facility is located on a 5 acre park like setting for you to enjoy the best of Tahoe while drinking your favorite craft beer.
If you do the South Lake Tahoe Beer trail, The Hangar is at the top of my list. Best selection of beer. Required to buy food. The food truck had some awesome nachos. Tables are excellently socially distant.

Great food and custom made rum runners. Hamburgers were great! Lake front but casual dining at it's finest.

We had the BEST - unexpected - time here! I have no idea how this place wasn't super crowded; it was like we stumbled upon a hidden gem. Plans had fallen through and we decided to pop in here for happy hour while we figured out new dinner plans... well, we wound up staying until they closed! Idle Hour is directly on the lake and had several individual little seating areas (COVID-compliant) for couples or small groups. We had a completely private corner balcony with direct west facing views of the sunset. It was magical! Other areas had their own fire pits too. We ordered a cheese and charcuterie board loaded with salami, prosciutto, manchego, brie, sharp cheddar, fresh baked bread, jam, grapes, and olives for just $20. Wines are served by the bottle or glass on tap, allowing you to try some really nice expensive wines usually only available by the bottle. We were enjoying ourselves so much that we ordered a flat-bread pizza on seemingly homemade dough (whatever it was, it was delish! And, it was the same bread that came on the cheese board), more wine, and then little truffles for dessert. This wound up being one of our favorite nights. So charming. What a treat.

The food is excellent, the SALAD BAR is an AWESOME surprise, service is excellent, and the staff and OWNER go out of their way to make your experience the best it can be! I love the tea they serve, went home to buy more, couldn’t find it ANYWHERE!! Jason’s ORDERED A CASE for me, the owner even mailed it to me in the East Bay as our trip up in Feb. was delayed!! Amazing service. We will be bringing in LOTS of family and friends whenever we’re up there!! (Which is fairly often!) Thank you Jason’s! Annette Owens

Popular bar with a large dance floor and DJed music catering to a younger clientele.
This casual spot serves beer, burgers and pizza and has a dance floor as well.
