10 Bar, Club & Pub Tours in Dublin That You Shouldn't Miss

October 18, 2021 Diedre Savory

You've probably heard that Guinness tastes better in Dublin (fresh from the factory), but what you may not know is that Dublin is a perfect destination for the whole family. No, we're not suggesting you let the kiddies drink a pint. Instead, take them to the Dublin Zoo, to feed the ducks in Stephen's Green or on a picnic in Phoenix Park. Scholars enjoy walking in the literary footsteps of such writers as Yeats and Joyce, while discerning shoppers have their pick of designer boutiques.

Jim Dempsey Tour Guide

Food was my first career, Jim was a pioneering figure in the artisan food world for many years. He still maintains a foot in that world, moonlighting for his friends at markets etc. He uses these connections in nearly all his tours. You are likely to be taken into some store of cafe for a nibble and to meet a local. Jim started guiding in 1999, he says the tours are all well known to him, the pleasure is in the people, you and your group. His customer service is unsurpassed.

Mark Twig

I have been trained with Ballymaloe Cookery school.  After this, I became a teacher. While doing this I became a brewer and now I am a farmer with a passion for fermented foods and cured meats. I got to love all this more through the pleasure of mindful activities and meditation. With Ireland being such a small place I've made friends all around the country who I want you to meet. And we can add in a bit of fun, banter, and consciousness while we are at it.
