We spent a few hours roaming aroung Tubac and La Esplendida is an amazingly beautiful store with some VERY unique pieces. I am not sure where they find some of the things they have in their store, but many of their treasures you will not see anywhere else. So, if you are looking for somethin unique, this is the place to go and if you are looking for some beautiful oils, Darcy ( one of the owners ) is an amazing artist for wildlife art. And if you want a unique Nativity for the Christmas season, this is th place to go.

I particularly liked their outdoor sculptures. Especially the bear. Their indoor gallery also has a nice selection of artwork.

As others have noted, the owner was very helpful and no pressure. After walking around the typical tourist Mexican art stores this gallery was a joy. There were a variety of mediums and some beautiful statues in addition to wall art. We bought a mask and a pottery candle holder to ship home and felt they were reasonably priced.
