Stopped in on drive through to Calgary. Excellent pool facility, 10 lane 25m lap pool, kept slightly cool for good workouts; play pool was considerably warmer, with 2 lap lanes, river run, water slide. Large open area, lots of light. Showers/change rooms large and clean. Lots of open lane swim times each day. Also in same building are some awesome climbing walls, cardio/weight room, and the local library.

This arena was very nice, clean, and multiple ice surfaces with lots of viewing space to watch either game.

Based in Calgary, Canada, Spruce Meadows is the brainchild of the Southern family who built a Show Jumping complex at the foothills of the Alberta Rocky Mountains. It was in 1976 that the first Spruce Tournaments were held, with annual spectator attendances reaching over 50,000 by the end of the decade. Today, Spruce Meadows boasts one of the greatest outdoor equestrian venues in the world and offers an incredible experience for riders and fans alike. Spruce Meadows focuses on the organization and hosting of show jumping tournaments of unmatched quality for junior, amateur and professional athletes in a manner that reflects basic family values in a clean, green and welcoming environment that celebrates the horse and encourages the breeding and training of quality sport horses and the teaching and development of athletes. Spruce Meadows is also home to the Canadian Premiere League's Cavalry FC.
took a drive out to Spruce meadows to see the Christmas lights, fantastic show and free - due to construction on 22x it was a little confusing as to where to enter - heading west use the first entrance

I enjoy they drop-in classes for the flexibly. Instead of a show the whole family (3 generations) will go enjoy their favorite activities or work out. Then gather at one of the meeting areas for a snack or beverage.

The Strathmore Stampede will be entering its 54th year. Pro Rodeo, Pro Chuckwagons, and Running with the Bulls are the main events. The grounds are busy with family entertainment, food trucks, a Tradeshow, beer gardens, wine cellar, live entertainment, trick riding and a midway! Come join in the action and take part in the 3rd largest Canadian Stampede.

At just over 60000 capacity, this venue can host almost anything. I have seen football, university games, concerts, etc at this historic Edmonton landmark and would highly recommend checking it out. Have seen the likes of David Bowie, Bon Jovi, Pink Floyd, Beyoncé, GNR, Rolling Stones, etc here and the sound is amazing.

Went to the Oilers/Flames game on Saturday for the Battle of Alberta. Could not ask for a better hockey game. Did the "Top Shelf" experience which is very expensive but an incredible experience. Could not imagine better or attentive service from caring and friendly staff. Truly a class act.
