Any visit to Bogota should include a visit to the Salt Cathedral with this company! Cindy was outstanding and a gracious host! Pedro was a fantastic driver and the two of them made this visit to Bogota magical! Cindy’s knowledge and love for her country was evident and I was treated like royalty throughout the entire tour. We decided to do a quick tour of Bogota seeing that we had a 7 hour layover there! Throughout the whole process German helped us, and stayed in constant contact once we landed. He picked up us from the airport (even waited for an hour when our flight was delayed!) and took us to the main city points. He was very knowledgable on everything and made our quick tour a very fun and interesting one. Despite the heavy rain we had, the tour was worth every penny!

Daniel, our tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. He showed us everything from the oldest parts of Bogota to the new parts of the city and the plans for the future. This was a last minute trip so I had not done much research into Bogota prior to my trip. The guided tour through the city and to Mount Monserrate made the trip worth while. Daniel was also very patient with my limited Spanish.

This is undoubtedly one of the best combinations of tourist attractions near Bogotá; the day begins with a visit to the Guatavita Lake, famous for being the place where the Muiscas performed the ritual that gave rise to the legend of El Dorado; this place possesses an overwhelming beauty that can only be understood when visiting it. Then, cross the savannah to reach the municipality of Zipaquirá; you will know the First Wonder of Colombia, the Salt Cathedral, one of those places that you will not want to miss when coming to Colombia. Our Travel agency is certified with Covid Protocols and has Check In and Safe Travels Stamp. Drivers, guides and attractions visited are also checked before and during the tour. ** At the moment (2021+) Guatavita doesn't have guides in English, you can take the tour in Spanish.
Inclusions: Transportation Roundtrip, Audio guide (ES/EN), Entrance Fees (Guatavita Lagoon - Salt Cathedral), Fast track in Salt Cathedral (We recommend you to bring your own headphones with audio jack), Insurance, Time for lunch , Biosecurity Kit
Exclusions: Lunch, Snacks
My amazing tour guide (Rodolfo) is the best; friendly and attentive to details. Simple and flexible booking experience and wisited sites were simply lovely! Also, very good pricing vs other operators but still top experience.

A staff member from the company will meet you at the hotel, either in the morning or the afternoon, to take you on a tour through La Sabana de Bogota to the town of Zipaquira, which name means 'city of our Father' in the language of the Chibcha. Back in pre-Columbian times, salt around the area was the most important commodity and the ‘salt cakes’ were the only currency for trading. Over time, technology improved and the muiscas began to extract larger amounts of salt. As a result, an underground salt deposit was formed and it is where the Salt Cathedral was built, 180 meters below the surface. Inside, there is a chapel, “capilla de los mineros” built as a tribute to the Virgin “Our Lady of the Rosary of Guasá” (Guasá means 'mine' in Chibcha). At the end, return to Bogotá
Inclusions: Round-trip private transfer, Professional guide from our Agency, Air-conditioned vehicle
Exclusions: Food and drinks, Souvenir photos (available to purchase), Gratuities
