On 24.11 I was having a tour in Bangalore, and this was one of the worst tours I have ever done. 1. The guide spoke very unclear English, I would understand maybe 40% of what he was saying, and he couldn't answer almost any questions I was asking, since he was not understanding them. 2. The tour itself was pretty useless. The big part of excursion was: "This is a five star hotel. This is another five star hotel. And this is a college for rich people." I have not gotten almost any information about the city's history, no idea, how it has become the IT Hub of India, nothing at all. And the small pieces of information he was giving, he was repeating over and over again. 3. The guide was extreamly unpolite. In the middle of the tour inside park he would just pick up his phone without excusing himself and start talking for five minutes, letting me just stay in the heat, not understanding what's going on. 4. The worst part was lunch. Without asking me what I would prefer to have, he took me to the hotel that he has chosen, then he has joined me without bothering to ask, what I think about it, then tried to force me to order what he wanted, and after I have done my order, he has just eaten more than a half of my food. I mean, he even poured the half of my tea in his cup, and of course let me pay for it. Considering the fact he was all the time talking about his son studying in Australia and the cost of the tour (it's 120 euros, pretty expensive I think!), I really didn't feel like I had to pay for him. 5. Not only excursion was useless, he also took me to three different shops, even when I openly said, that I just want to go to the hotel after this "amazing" experience. During the whole day I was feeling just like everybody is trying to scam me and get as much money as possible, and since I was travelling alone, I was feeling really unsave trying to argue and several times was considering just to call the cab from hotel and get back there. The only good point was the driver. He was very nice and driving calmly, the car was clean and in perfect condition. But I really not recommend this tour to anybody, and hope the company will change the way they look at the tourist, because it has given in the end very bad impression of the city that doesn't deserve it.

I had booked the private tour of Royal Mysore with Five senses tours and we had Satish as our guide. It was an amazing day. Satish was a fantastic person with immence knowledge. He was also very caring and took very good care of us who were all first time visitors in India. Mysore was incredible and the palace is no less than Taj Mahal. We also saw other parts of this old kingdom like the old bazaar and few more palaces. The lunch was fingerlicking. Satish had suggested traditional Mysore meals and it was a great experience. Go ahead and book this whenever you are in India! Fully recommended.

Sam was wonderful to work with. Before the tour she followed up promptly and answered my questions. We left the order of the tour to Sam to decide and we started with the flower market after -being picked up on time. This was an amazing experience, both inside and outside the main building. Overall the tour was excellent and was at our pace. We did not feel rushed and thought we had made the right choice using this tour operator. The gift at the beginning of the tour was very thoughtful and will bring back fond memories as will having lunch at a wonderful restaurant. To us, the least enjoyed experience was the museum at the end although I did find it interesting, not so much my husband and the time at this location was just right. Again at our own pace.

100% would book this again with Bangs 'n' Memories (BnM). Bangalore Tour by Tuk Tuk, organized by Bags 'n' Memories (BnM) was the perfect day trip tour around Bangalore. We looked over a number of trips for our sole day in Bangalore, and here's all the reasons why this is the best option: 1- Tuk Tuk: with the insane traffic in Bangalore (even by India standards), the Tuk Tuk provides the extra flexibility, manoeuvrability, and compactness to drive and park anywhere! If you go in a car, get ready to hit traffic jams. 2- They organized admission to all sites: Everything was paid up front, and then it BnM handled getting our tickets and we never had to worry about cash. If you are travelling a lot, you'll really appreciate having no worries during the day, as BnM take care of it all! 3- They organized an perfect authentic lunch! And it was perfect. :-) We had come from a co-workers wedding outside Bangalore and the lunch BnM organized was spot on perfect, just like the meals we had all week. 4- They were flexible in start/finish time, adjusted the tour to our schedule. We were bogged down from late travel the night before, but they adjusted to help us out. Really, You should go with this :-) Tuk Tuk tour is 100% the way to go. Plus it's fun and authentic to bomb around an Indian City in a Tuk Tuk!! And Bags 'n' Memories really put thought into how to help foreigns and travellers get around easily. These guys are professionals, helpful, friendly, and know what you're worried about. 100% Will Book Again.

Bangalore's architecture holds stories of the city's life phases: all the way from the scattered ruins from the 18th century that merge with the new glass and steel structures of the booming IT City, the silicon valley of India; the understated hindu mud and brick homes, to the fast disappearing colonial mansions that were once occupied by serving British Army officers of the Madaras regiment; stone structures that house public buildings is one of those Indian cities which is known for it's architecture offices, to shacks in the slums; ancient temples and gothic churches. The architecture tour takes you through stories of Bangalore though its buildings and ruins. Because every stone has a tale to tell!

Culture Rings was recommended by a colleague for a private tour with a female guide who would give some real insights into the city. She was not wrong. Jackie's tour was simply a brilliant day out after a tough work week. It felt like going on a jaunt with a really interesting and very cultured friend who loves her city and who knows people everywhere. I am skeptical of overly positive reviews on TA, but in this case I am now sure these ones are true. You won't regret taking this tour. Just let your guide know what you will like and they will tailor around you for a great experience.
