At the shop there are rooms of curios, antiquities, art and antiques. All at affordable prices. We have coins, pottery, collectibles, prints and posters, paintings....you name it, you will find it here! If not, our staff may help you obtain this elusive item. There are many cabinets of the like you would see in any antique center, but more variety and quirky. There is a weird room, a curio room of antiquities, fossils, mirrors. Books and random finds, a junk room, racks of ephemera, old photos, sheet music and who knows with serendipity! Free valuations and advice.

Quite unusual to review an antique shop, its a shop really and not a tourist attraction! This is an excellent old school antique shop always well stocked with oak and country furniture at affordable prices. A genuine and friendly owner makes this as good a reason as any to visit Hawes. 19th and 18th century country furniture, slip ware, collectables and decorative objects.

This is a lovely shop that sells lovely antiques and curio's that are reasonably priced and all really well presented, often when visiting shops of this ilk there is a hovering presence almost urging you to buy something. Not so with Ann, she runs a very relaxed shop that is a pleasure to visit.

We were searching for small silver items and, after entering this indoor "market", discovered that this emporium houses independent dealers who have businesses on the premises. Lots of interesting variety and specialists. We found our items and were pleasantly surprised at both the quality and the price. OK, we did a little haggling which is almost a requirement ! The place is more welcoming than the famous name saleroom and showcase shops in this part of central Harrogate and, in our opinion, affordable if, perhaps, looking for a gift or souvenir. The Montpellier Quarter is a "must visit" area in the town and is famous for the range of art and antiques available for sale. It is surrounded by cafes, bars and restaurants too. Well worth a visit to browse.

Situated in an old converted barn, the quaintness is evident before you even step inside. A lovely array of antiques, furniture, Object d'Art, clocks, etc in a non-cluttered setting. The owners are very helpful without being overbearing, and will happily let you browse. Well worth a visit!

If you visit York and are interested in antiques and vintage items, then the Red House Antique Centre near York Minster, is a must. There is a wonderful selection of items, ranging from a few pounds to more expensive antiques. The items are mainly in cabinets but don't be afraid to ask the friendly assistants for assistance. My favourite cabinet, full of vintage items, is just outside the cafe (Cafe Feva). By the way, the cafe is well worth a visit and 'safe'.
