The archaeological site in Via dell'Abbondanza was discovered in 2004 during construction works and was excavated until 2005. It became a museum in late August 2015, and today it is open to visitors, who can enjoy an original experience with the help of technology. It is an example of aristocratic residence dating from the early Roman imperial period.
