The largest and many say most beautiful island in the Bay of Naples, Ischia is renowned for its curative spas. Ferries and hydrofoils connect Naples to Ischia Porto, the main town. Nearby at Ischia Ponte (connected to the main island by a foot bridge) are the magnificent Castello Aragonese and Guevara Tower. Forio on the island’s west coast, Lacco Ameno in the northwest and Sant’Angelo in the south are the liveliest resort towns. Casamicciola Terme in the north is one of Europe’s oldest spas.

Hotel Hermitage Terme SPA Ischia is a lifestyle. The hotel was built in 196 and has been constantly renovated while maintaining the Mediterranean style that characterises it, conceived and wanted in this way, in the simplicity and professionalism that distinguish the true sense of hospitality. A brand new and arduous project, the result of daring style choices, which make it full of personality. The feeling of true hospitality that comes from the heart and passion of Eduardo & Cinzia. With a modern attitude but old and strong in wisdom. The 105 rooms of the Hotel Hermitage are distinguished by fineness and charm. You can admire the splendid panorama of the fishing village of Ischia Ponte from our terraces and the majestic Aragonese Castle, an icon of the island of Ischia. At the Hermitage you can experience many opportunities: a romantic and charming holiday, a holiday entirely dedicated to wellness, a spa holiday and also conference stays, where you can combine work with moments of relaxation.
I stayed here for a week to do the "relax package" and it was definitely not relaxing. Firstly, what it says on the site is included in the package was misleading. It is a face mask and a foot rub for 30 minutes, no total "massage" or "face/body consultation". My room was fine, but not what you expect from a 4-star hotel. My shower had rust in it, there were cracks in the walls, and the rooms are very loud (you can hear everything). Much of the staff was helpful and very nice, which I appreciated. But overall this was a very disappointing experience. I would only recommend staying here if you find a VERY good deal.

Three Sisters Hotel Villa in Sant'Angelo d'Ischia, with breakfast, dinner of fresh fish. The price includes 3 swimming pools, sauna, parking, wifi, and we organize tours around the island with small boat and bathing in the creeks and lunch on board.
I am always happy to be in this hotel, the quality of the food is amazing! Always fresh seafood ? and real traditional Italian food. The staff is friendly and if you ask they allowed you to relax in the jacuzzi even late in the evening or night under the stars. Is the perfect place to relax with great people who take care of you as if you were one of their family members. They serve REAL house wine, because they have a winery with their own vineyards. Such a special place! Can’t wait to go back!

The brand-new Hotel Mirage is located mid-way between two of the most beautiful municipalities of the Island of Ischia: Casamicciola Terme and Ischia Porto. With its position directly in front of the sea, enjoying an astonishing view, embedded in a lush green vegetation and surrounded by the timeless magic of thermal waters, the Hotel is a unique oasis for relaxation and well-being.
Stayed for 3 nights in August 2021. Initially chosen this hotel after reading about its "four pools" even when the location is not ideal, difficult to get around without car. Was very disappointed when saw in reality it is a ONE pool with 3 very small plunge pools. I guess they used a wide lenses when making photos to make it look bigger than it is. The pool looks very run down with yellow stains. One of the days had to complain that the pool is all covered in leaves so impossible to use. Nothing was done about it. I am not sure why the description says it is a brand new hotel - it is far from it and very dated. Breakfast choice was very poor, just boiled eggs, thickly cut ham and not very appetisingly looking cheese. Had to stop with a egg. The receptionist was very polite, offered little discount on the check out due to our complains.

The San Lorenzo hotel stands on a panoramic hill, near the city center of Lacco Ameno (about 800 m). Pools and beach: the hotel has a large outdoor pool - heated water - 2 indoor pools, 3 panoramic pools. The nearest beach is San Montano. To reach the beach and the center of Lacco Ameno, a free shuttle is available (times available at the reception). For those arriving with their own car, ample parking is available. The San Lorenzo has a comfortable restaurant where you can enjoy full board and half board. A Spa equipped for mud and thermal treatments completes the hotel equipment.
I picked this island and area because it was smaller and catered to more locals (Italian tourists), and it was a fantastic choice. Hotel overlooks the town, beautiful view. Pools were great, not too busy, always plenty of chairs. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms are smaller than hotels in North America, but who cares I'm not there to hang out in room and it was clean, nice big shower and my twin bed was comfortable. Main dining room was pricey but bar offered choices for lunch and snacks.

Currently staying at Sorriso Therme in a room in the off site accommodation. It is excellent and we have a massive balcony from which we can see the main hotel and pool area. The breakfast has a great selection of continental and hot food on offer buffet style. All the staff are very helpful and speak English very well. The dinner is 4 courses which you pre order at breakfast time so dinner service is quick and efficient. We used the spa and had the spa area to ourselves which was excellent and made us feel very safe from the threat of Covid. You can hire wonderful toweling gowns for use around the pool and spa. Covid precautions are adhered to but it doesn’t spoil our enjoyment in fact it makes you feel very comfortable and safe. The bus stop is right outside the hotel and you can travel all around the island very easily I have to say reading some of the earlier reviews I can’t understand the complaints people made because our experience had been excellent

Typical Mediterranean style, the hotel is located in a green and peaceful area adjacent to the beautiful Pine grove of Ischia where you can take a pleasant stroll in your free time. The Bourbon port, half surrounded by famous clubs and restaurants and the old Celsi village (Ischia Ponte) are just a few minutes from the hotel on foot, as is the famous Square and CorsoVittoria Colonna, unique with its splendid boutiques and the renowned bars. The local bus stop is very close by in order to allow guests to tour the island, reaching the most characteristic locations.
I stayed in this hotel for a week and I was really unhappy with my stay. First off, the beds are hard as rocks, I actually had bruises on my hips after staying here. Secondly, we had repeated issues with the night watchman. The first night I came home with my boyfriend who checked in with me, he stopped us and accused me of being a loose woman bringing home strange men. He was asking if we were married and telling me that it was a family friendly hotel and I wasn't allowed to have strange men in my room. He wouldn't let us up to our room until he had actually looked up our reservation and confirmed that my boyfriend was on the reservation. I was absolutely horrified. This behavior continued throughout my stay, one night with him cursing very nastily at us under his breath in Italian as we walked by. He was obviously unaware that my boyfriend is fluent in Italian.

Really bad for a 3-star hotel. Dirty bathroom and room. No remote control for AC, phone was broken so no direct contact with the reception. It looks it was a good hotel in the beginning of 00’s but now is just disgusting. I wouldn’t recommend it. Not worthy for the money spent.

We booked this charming family owned spa hotel on the island of Ischia for the end of August into early September. The thermal pools which are alongside the swimming pools are amazing. These are very relaxing and you certainly feel a little bit pampered and special - they are certainly a great way to de-stress! The breakfasts are a typical buffet with yoghurt, cereals, fruit, freshly baked cakes and bread, cheese, charcuterie and juices. Bacon, boiled and scrambled eggs are also present for those needing something hot to start the day. Excellent tea and coffee complete the package. Evening meals begin with a buffet and you are then treated to three courses which you choose from a menu the night before. The food was very good and a real highlight was the trip to the family vineyard up the mountain when we were treated to a tour of the facilities and then some traditional Ischian farmhouse cooking and a little of the vineyards products! We had a room with a balcony and a sea view over Lacco Ameno which was beautiful and so typically Italian it could have come from a film. The hotel runs a shuttle bus into Lacco Ameno and Casamicciola with free drop off and pick up at pre-arranged times which is very useful as the slopes on the island may not be for everybody. If you are looking for a genuine piece of the real Italy with a chilled and relaxing atmosphere, great food and fabulous, charming, helpful staff you should definitely take a look at this place - we will be returning...
