Aruba is the quintessential Caribbean island, all sun and sea and stretches of powdery white sand. Time will slow to a pleasant crawl as you linger over a tropical cocktail or flutter serenely underwater, where only the parrotfish are in a hurry. The pastel façades of Oranjestad landmarks and shops lend an inviting and playful vibe to the capital city. Enjoy the shade of an Eagle Beach divi tree while the crashing waves of turquoise water create a soothing soundtrack just for you.

This was our first trip to Aruba but will not be our last. Our family has travelled multiple times per year to the Carribean and so we have seen many nice places. This has a great combination of great beach and great hotel but the boardwalk running in between the hotels and beach offers many dining and bar options so you do not feel like you are held hostage at the hotel. Cabs are very easy to get at affordable prices and a great island to explore. My only negative is the water in front of the hotel is not as pretty as Turks and Caicos or Cayman and there are many boats anchored in front of the hotels which distracts from the experience.......but overall a great place. we asked every cab driver we rode with to rank the hotels and all seemed to put the Hyatt first. based on quality of the property and convenient loacation to everything, I cant disagree. If you go, there is a website to reserve palapas in advance. People that have been there before know to reserve them in advance so even if your room says "best available palapa", if you don't reserve in advance, best available may not be very good.

This is our 2nd stay in two years and the staff and atmosphere has been exceptional. The staff makes every effort to know your name and make you feel as welcome as possible. We spent some time enjoying the Lobby Bar which has great sushi and a Hibiscus Margarita and the Smoked Whiskey, but the topper was the drink shown below. . . A delicious Espresso martini introduced to us by our hostess Shyre!

Was going to book for my family which includes a 10 year old and was told they are no longer accepting children under 12 for new reservations but are honoring existing reservations. I think this is a very important change that I wanted to share and unfortunatly means we are looking else where.

The Ritz Carlton has the most amazing pop-up bar run by Jose. Jose is the most creative and thoughtful mixologist. Every day he made me a different drink that was even better than the one before. A mango Mojito, a ginger lime yummy Ness something or other, and a Paloma that would knock your socks off. He’s worth the trip himself!

Lovely hotel. Staff here are lovely. But 4 of us paid alot of money to come here. Was never told about the construction site nextdoor. There building a new hotel. So it was noisy from 6 in morning till around 5. We got move to the other side of hotel but really we paid for a full sea view. And the pool area was a nightmare with the construction work going on. Wish we were told before we went. Because we wouldn't have never come to this hotel. Until construction had finished.

The only thing better than the modern, colorful, high-rise buildings at Divi Aruba Phoenix Beach Resort are the miles of pure, white, sandy beaches that surround it. Our tropical beachfront resort is situated on Aruba’s famed Palm Beach and backed by a private wildlife sanctuary. We invite you to make our four-star Caribbean resort your home away from home in a spacious studio suite or one-, two-, or three-bedroom suite, all of which feature kitchens, picture windows, and large private balconies or patios with stunning, picturesque views of the azure sea.
We came to celebrate our sons high school graduation and it was our first time to Aruba. The pros: Aruba’s airport is a breeze to arrive in to. We were through the airport and in a taxi in less than 30 minutes. The ride to the resort is short and it cost us $31 for 4 people. The Divi Phoenix is small and close to a wonderful beach. Lots of swimming areas and swim up bar. For the most part the staff is friendly and helpful. They have room key bracelets that can be taken on and off! There were always plenty of chairs for the beach and the water is PERFECT!! The resort is in good shape for the price. We upgraded to the three bedroom penthouse for $750 upon arrival. Do not get this room if you can’t get up tiny stairs! All bedrooms are upstairs. Happy hour is at 5 for buy on get one drinks! The island and hotel felt very safe. Cons: The room was nice but not cleaned well and don’t expect to really cook in the kitchen due to a very limited selection of pots/pans utensils. It needs a deep cleaning but for the price it was fine. The drinks are expensive! $12-$14 per drink. Double check your bill, we got charged full price during happy hour but had it corrected. Go down the beach to a beach bar for cheaper drinks. Also we had issues with excessive loudness from the swim-up bar area for two nights. Literally didn’t fall asleep until 2am because of people screaming and yelling. Loud music doesn’t bother me, so believe me when I say it was bad! They need to control this better. Get your COVID test early on the day before you leave. Like 8-9am. We never got an email for three of our test and we had to go back to the testing area to get a print out the morning of our departure. Be persistent and don’t wait too long.

This beautiful all-suite resort offers guests over-sized studio, one- and two-bedroom suites with fully equipped kitchens perfect for both couples and families. Amenities include 9-hole golf course and clubhouse, 3 freshwater swimming pools, tennis courts, water sports center, 3 restaurants, fitness center, and complimentary transportation to the Alhambra Casino. A wide, white sand beach is just steps across the street. An all-inclusive program is available sharing amenities with the neighboring Divi Resorts.
We enjoyed our ground floor studio unit directly across the street from the beach. It was a 1 minute walk to the beach and even less to the pool. The room had everything we needed to cook meals in the kitchenette. The bed, linens & pillows were very comfortable. Only a stand-up shower in the bathroom (no bathtub). A community washer & dryer available on the second floor, but requires $2 in quarters per wash & dry cycle. We ate dinner at the Sea Breeze Restaurant at the Village and lunch at the Beach Bar across the street. One evening they hosted a resort party with music, entertainment, and complementary drinks and snacks. It was a nice touch and fun time for the guests! There was always an available palapa (tiki hut) at the beach, even when arriving later in the day. Eagle Beach is beautiful and quieter than Palm Beach, but definitely bring water shoes if wanting to walk the shore or get in the water. This is our second time in six years to visit Aruba and both times we stayed at Divi Village. We spent one of our beach days at their sister resort, Divi Phoenix, located directly on Palm Beach. We were able to go snorkeling and did see some fish. We love this area and will return!

My wife and I stayed at the Riu Palace Aruba for a week and had the best experience that I've had thus far of any Riu resort. After having a subpar stay at Riu Costa Rica, I was close to canceling my trip here but I am so glad that I decided to give Riu Palace Aruba a chance. All of the staff really shows their appreciation for the guests being there and doesn't take that guests have numerous lodging choices for granted. Every one of the staff members who we came into contact with were so welcoming. They certainly made me and my wife feel good about taking this trip from the moment that we checked in. The dining is good, the entertainment is captivating, the beach and pool are very relaxing and the pool team is exceptional. Jessica and Edgar ensured that our Anniversary stay was above our expectations. Billy, Jennifer and Miya were extremely attentive to our, and the rest of the guests', needs while at the pool which also exceeded our expectations. Finally, I want to express a great deal of gratitude to Diana at the front desk for helping me with finding a quiet location to handle an important business matter. Diana, you definitely made a difference in my success with that situation. Thank you all for reestablishing my trust in Riu properties Riu Palace Aruba staff, we'll definitely be coming back soon!!!
