Flight Experience:The Trial Flight Experience (or Air Experience Flight) provides an amazing opportunity to take to the skies and see the world from a different perspective. Discover the stunning sights of Cornwall - from its unique coastlines, cliffs and beaches to its rural villages and towns. Depending on the duration of your flying experience, you can expect to see places such as Newquay, St Ive's, Boscastle, Falmouth, Truro, Bodmin, Padstow, St Austell and even the Eden Project! Experiences are available in a two seat (Cessna 152), three seat (Robin DR400) or four seat (Piper PA28) aircraft and can last for 20, 30, 40 or 50 minutes. This flight is also the starting point for the Light Aircraft Pilot Licence (LAPL) or Private Pilot Licence (PPL), and any time flown can be logged towards the course if the participant is 14 years old or over. This personal flying lesson starts with a full flight briefing from one of our highly qualified and experienced flight instructors before being taken to your aircraft. During the flight, you will be given the chance to take the controls and fly the plane, sitting in the captain's seat in the cockpit and under the supervision of your instructor, you will also assist with the take-off and landing of the plane - all whilst admiring Cornwall from this unusual vantage point.
