Price/person: Adults $80+gst Child (8-11) $60+gst Saturdays add $10 Best of Both: Sulphur & Smoky Rivers There's two kinds of white water: tight & fast or BIG WAVES. Put them together, throw in mountain scenery with a tasty lunch and it's the best of both! The twisty Sulphur Canyon is drop-dead gorgeous and super fun to paddle. After a quick bite and a hot drink, the adventure continues. The title of Top River Rat is up for grabs as teams play some seriously silly water games. Finally, it's the big Smoky Rapids where you can only scream and hold on. After this, you'll know what it is to ride the river. THE RIVER PIRATES! It's Theatre Adventure on water! Let your child (and big kids, too) live out the fantasy: get your pirate gear, name and sign-up for a mad-cap tale of buried treasure, rats and rogue crew members! Sing songs, learn jokes, battle with swords and find the gold! Performed in a hilarious improv style, our crazy captains will have you in stitches and the little ones bedazzled. This unique adventure includes face-painting, bandannas, swords and treasure... and you get to take it all home! Wild One: Sheep Creek There's no room for beginners as we launch immediately into solid class 4 rapids! The river comes at you hard and fast, and it's relentless. You'll never feel more alive as you're being buried in white water and your guide is barking commands. Sheep Creek plays for keeps, but not for long: only available late May to early July. The real craziness is in June, when previous experience & good physical fitness is required. Lower water is usually in July, when previous experience is not required, but a good state of fitness is still recommended. You must be 18+, no exceptions. Two Wild: Sulphur River & Sheep Creek If you want the scary stuff, but don't have the experience, this is your trip. Get into the groove on the Sulphur River, where the twists and turns of the canyon pump up your paddling. Then board the blue bus for the Sheep Creek madness: a super-steep, paddle-your-face off thrill of a lifetime. Good physical fitness required, must be 18+. ID may be required. Includes lunch. Price/person: Adults $150+gst Saturdays add $20 Kakwa River Family: 3-Day The easiest way to take your family on a real backcountry trip. Explore 90km of the mighty Smoky River; one of the last wild rivers in the Arctic watershed. With time to relax and be soothed by the river, there's also exciting moments of paddling, getting soaked during water fights and even surfing your boat on the waves. At night you're pampered with hearty meals and world-class treatment. Laugh and share memories from the day around the fireside, then crawl in your tent and drift off to the soothing sounds of the river. Come morning, there's freshly baked muffins, and the river awaits. The Kakwa River Extreme: 2-Day A classic backcountry adventure with big class 3/4 water, remote wilderness and riverside camping. It's a gentle start and even beginners get time to learn the strokes, but then it all goes crazy! You won't know whether to laugh or scream as we hit the rapids hard, get pounded with water and dig in! A new challenge awaits around every corner and then, wet and happy, it's time to hit the beach. Soon, cozy and warm, you'll dig into freshly-prepared meals and the join in the buzz around the fire. And as the river rumbles on, you'll drift off to dreams of the next big wave... because tomorrow the river awaits. Come join us for a day of fun and adventure on the river this summer!
